It's been a couple of days since Cassie Salvatore had told her brothers about her being a tribrid, the only one of her kind who is all three supernatural beings. In these last couple of days, the blonde had kept mostly to herself giving her brothers some space to make sense of what both Damon and Stefan had learned about their little sister but that didn't stop Cassie from visiting Stefan who is still locked away in the tomb with Katherine.
The blonde has been having these frequent dreams and often left her waking up gasping for air. They were like her memories of some sorts and it was always with the same blonde man from the first dream she had. Cassie had no idea what was going on or what these dreams even meant. The youngest Salvatore was hesitant in telling her brothers as she was unsure what they would think especially since they still trying to wrap their heads around the fact Cassie isn't just an ordinary vampire.
After getting herself dressed for the day, Cassie made her way down the staircase of the Salvatore boarding house, stopping in the foyer when she saw Damon sat in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee causing a smirk to appear on her face as she slowly made her way towards him snatching the coffee out of his hands, " I'm going to go check on Stefan. You coming?" Cassie inquired as she held up a bottle of animal blood.
Damon groaned with an annoyed look on his face but nodded his head in confirmation rolling his eyes at the thought of Katherine stuck in the with his brother, " Yeah, no doubt he'll be tempted in killing himself just so he doesn't have to deal with the she devil" Cassie chuckled with a look of amusement on her face as she drank the rest of her brothers coffee before placing the mug in the sink just as Damon wrapped his arm around her shoulder dragging her out of the house.
It didn't take the two siblings long until they arrived at the tomb after Cassie had dragged Damon to the grill for some breakfast. The blonde was leaning against the wall near the entrance of the tomb as she explained to Stefan how she put an boundary spell around the Gilbert spell to stop her brothers girlfriend from putting herself and others in danger from Klaus who wants to sacrifice and will kill anyone in his path to get what he wants especially since what she had heard from Rose about the vampire.
"You trapped her in the house?" Stefan questioned incredulously narrowing his eyes at his sister before turning his attention to Damon, " and you didn't think to stop her? Are you both out of your god damn minds?" He inquired causing both Damon and Cassie to look at one another with an offended looks on their faces when the oldest Salvatore spoke up defending his little sister, " it's for the best. Trust us. Elena's on a martyr tear that rivals your greatest hits."
Cassie hummed nodding her head in agreement as she walked forward placing the backpack on the ground next to Stefan feet and informed, " I brought you this, a change of clothes, candles, lanterns and I also got you this" Cassie then grabbed the bottle of blood she had in her pocket holding it out to her brother, " don't worry it's animal blood. I went hunting last night - you can't stay in here and not feed Stefan"
