(Another 3 years pass by quickly)

The loud alarm clock wakes me and I groan loudly.

I turn it off and lay in my bed for a few more minutes doing nothing. Finally I find the strength to get up and get ready for my second week of high school.

Since I took a shower last night I just had to brush my hair, throw something on, and brush my teeth.

"Hurry up Leila! We need to leave in 2 minutes!" My mom yells from downstairs.

I immediately regret laying in bed doing nothing when I should of gotten up.

I got ready as fast as I could and my mom yelled for me again as I was brushing my teeth.

I quickly rinsed my mouth, grabbed my backpack, and ran down stairs.

"I'm ready, I'm ready." I say out of breath.
(wow look at the spongebob quote. okgmd I hate myself)

My mom drops me off in front of the school and I make my way to the library where I meet my friend, Eliza.

"Hey sorry I'm couple minutes late." I say sitting down at the table she was at.

Eliza and I began talking close to the end of 8th grade and I'm thankful we did because if not I would have no friends starting high school.

"Don't sweat it. Do you want to go somewhere for lunch?" Eliza asks putting the book she was reading down.

"We'll be late to class if we do..since there's no where close to walk to." I say. I was never the one to be late to class or ditch even if I didn't care about school that much.

"Remember my brother, Isaac? Well he's a junior so I asked if he could drive us somewhere and he said yes." She explained.

"Oh well alright then." I agreed, after that the bell rung and Eliza and I parted ways.

Lunch finally came and Eliza said to meet her in front of the school's sign.

I got there and waited since her class was a bit further away than mine was.
Someone poked my shoulder and I turned around. Standing there was Isaac, I remember from the time I went over to Eliza's house.

"Hey it's Leila, right?" He asks.

I nod and back away from him slowly trying not to make it too obvious. His height was a little intimidating.

Finally Eliza found us and we followed Isaac to his car.

We all agreed we'd go through Burger King's drive thru and eat in the parking lot.

I tried to give Isaac my money so I could pay for myself, but he wouldn't take it since he said he would pay.

It was quiet while we ate so Eliza turned some music on, but not too loud.

"So Leila you're also a freshman?" Isaac asks.

"Yes." I answer too quickly.

"Oh well you look a little older. You're kinda hot for a freshman, are you dating anyone?"

"Isaac are you seriously flirting with my friend right now? Gross." Eliza says slapping his arm.

He laughs and we finish eating our food.

I didn't find it funny at all.. in fact I felt violated. Never has a boy flirted with me and I wasn't comfortable with it. I felt tears forming in my eyes, but I pulled myself together and ignored the feeling.

Once we returned back to school I quickly got out of the car and started walking.

"Leila wait up!" I hear Eliza call from behind me.

I didn't know why I was going to cry, but I did know if anyone looked at me too closely I would lose it and the tears would stream down my cheeks.

"Woah what's wrong? Come on let's go to the bathroom and we can talk." Eliza says hooking her arm through mine.

Once we got to the bathroom I let the tears fall down my cheeks. Eliza staring at me only made it worse.

"Was it what my stupid brother said? I'm sorry he's such a disrespectful ass." She says trying to comfort me.

"I'm sorry I'm just not use to guys treating me like that."

"You don't need to be apologizing. I'll stay in here with you until you're ready to leave." She smiled and hugged me.

Eliza guarded the door and she wouldn't let anyone in. We stayed in the bathroom for a whole period, and even though I missed a class I was starting to feel a little better of the thought of going to sleep.

"Ok I'm ready." I say taking a deep breath.

"Are you sure?" Eliza asked.

"Yes I just wanna get the school day over with and go home." I say quietly.

We said goodbye and I thanked her.

Once the last bell rung I quickly made my way outside and to where my mom picks me up.

I spot her car and head towards it.

"Leila!" I hear a familiar voice call my name. I turn my head and sure enough Isaac is walking to me.

I walk even faster and get in my moms car.

"Honey? Are you alright?" My mom asked worried.

"I don't feel good please can we go. I just want to go to sleep." I say trying my best not to cry.

She nodded concerned and started driving home.

I dropped my backpack on the ground and kicked my shoes off.

Not even bothering to change into pajamas I laid in bed and easily drifted off to sleep due to all the crying.
