I stepped out his car and the fresh summer air gently touched my face. We walked to scoops ahoy and i sat in a booth. I had a mint choc chip ice cream cone and i decided to read a book. I seen Nancy walk in to see Steve. She looked at me and my outfit.. I don't think she was too happy Steve let me wear her dress. She stormed over to Steve and she looked angry. They went back into the room and i stared at them shocked, I think they were fighting. Was it because of me? I walked over to Robin and I talked to her. 'What was that all about?!' She began to laugh 'You.' she said 'Nancys not too happy about you staying over and wearing her dress. She thinks Steve's cheating on her.' I stared at her with a blank face 'Really? oh shit I hope she doesn't hate me..' As i said that Nancy stormed out the room 'Nancy wait! nothing happen-' I tried to tell her but she slapped my hand away and screamed 'JUST SHUT UP Y/N. BILLY WAS RIGHT YOU ARE A SLUT' and she threw her ice cream at me. I sat there shocked as Nancy stormed away. The people in the booths were all whispering. Robin stared shocked but i could tell she was holding in laughter. Steve came out and seen me, he dragged me into the back room and wouldn't stop saying how sorry he is. I couldn't stop crying. Steve went and got me some new clothes to wear and took me to the changing rooms with showers. I couldn't stop crying in the shower. I've messed up a friendship and a relationship for what. Steve? I knew i had feelings but I didn't know it was this deep.

I got put the shower and got changed. I asked Steve to take me home. I didn't even want to talk but he was all I had at this point. 'she broke up with me.' he said quietly, 'what? why, is it because of me?' I asked 'I won't lie, yeah. she thinks I have feelings for you?'  'Really? wow, this reminds me of when we used to hang out and everyone used to think you liked me' I laughed 'that's because i did y/n' Steve said softly looking at me and back at road. 'REALLY?!' i asked shocked, He laughed 'it was pretty obvious, I couldn't even go a sentence without blushing at anything you said' 'woah. I couldn't tell.' I giggled. I couldn't believe Steve actually liked me. "King Steve" . 'Why did we even stop talking Steve. when we got to highschool you completely blanked me' he looked at me silently for a moment. 'well after i got over you, i got the courage to ask out Nancy, but she didn't like how close we were so she told me it was her or you. And i was dumb and i picked her, but now she gave me that choice again and. this time , i picked the right answer' he put his hand on my thigh and smiled. he awkwardly realised what he did and instantly took it off. i laughed. 'well all that for Nancy wow, you're such the romantic Steve.' i laughed 'y'know I liked you too back then. I suppose we should have told each other and this would have gone way differently.' i stared at him for a moment before noticing we were at my house. 'well, thanks for the ride. cya in school on monday' I kissed his cheek and left. I looked back and he was bright red. I love making boys drool over me.

As I walked in the house my dad looked at me. 'You leave with one boy and come home with another. I feel like i don't know you anymore y/n. You lied. I thought you were "staying at Nancys". You're grounded.' I was in shock. He usually wasn't this strict. what happened to him. I stormed up to my room and stared blankly at the wall. ugh it's so boring.
