Me and Steve walked to Scoops Ahoy, I had butterfly's in my stomach. Everything's going my way, it's perfect, almost too perfect. We walked in and Robin was opening up. 'Hey y/n sorry about yesterday and stuff. Hopefully we can be friends?' 'Yeah sure it's fine.' Steve was showing me how to scoops the ice creams as our first customer came. Steve was stood closely behind me his hands over mines as we were scooping the ice cream 'I got it now Harrington.' I laughed as he walked over to the back room and I gave the customer their cone. Robin came up beside me but before she could speak a boy came up. He looked familiar. 'is he here?' 'who?' I asked before steve ran out the door 'HENDERSON!' he screamed and they did their nerdy handshake before they hugged. They both went and sat down in a booth when Dustin looked like he told Steve something important. Me and Steve made eye contact and smiled, I started blushing. Robin nudged me 'YOU TOTALLY LIKE HIM Y/N' she laughed 'I do not.' I said with a big smile on my face, but she couldn't know about us. I could hear dustin from over here. 'YOU TOTALLY LIKE HER' 'SHUT UP' i heard steve shout and I laughed before walking into the back room for my break. Steve came back and kissed me 'Want to come to the movies later with me, I'll pick you up at 8' he smiled 'Sure, I'll be ready' I said stroking my hand through his hair. Steve walked out and as I was about to I heard Robin and Steve. 'y/n she's just so amazing.' 'Steve you totally like her' 'no, i don't she's just a friend.' I walked out smiling.

-after work-

Steve dropped me off at home and i went and got ready for the movies, I put on shorts and a shirt. I went and got steve but I realised I forgot my jacket. Steve looked at me and passed me his jacket. I couldn't stop blushing. We went to the movies and watched a rom-com. 'cmon y/n this movie is so cheesy' Steve said as I picked it but I could tell he was enjoying it when it started. After the movie ended Steve drove to a nice place with a great view and we made out. 'y/n' he looked at me. 'it's the last week before summer, Come with me. I'm leaving Hawkins for the summer' 'Really? If my dad says it's fine then I'm all for it.' 'Great.' he smirked and kissed me again. I pulled away 'right i have to go Harrington my dad will kill me if i'm late' he laughed and drove off.

I got home and after a few hours of begging my dad he told me I could go. I got up to my room and started packing my bags, we leave after school tomorrow. I couldn't be happier, Going away with my favourite boy. I heard a knock on the window and I opened it. 'Harrington, is this gonna be a regular thing between us' i laughed 'hopefully' he smirked while climbing in. 'what are you doing?' he asked 'i'm packing my bags! my dad said i could go!' he picked me up and spun me around and we kissed again. 'I'm so excited for our summer y/n, nobody's gonna know apart from us' I smiled and Steve came and helped me pack my bags. After a while Steve left
and I began to fall asleep.

I left all my bags by the door before school and I left when Steve came to get me for school. I couldn't control my excitement, I had to get through the school day and then it would be me, steve and the beach all summer. Me and him couldn't stop talking about how our summers gonna be. We were so excited.

-end of the day-
Steve had basketball practise after school so I went to the gym hall and watched him. I seen Billy slide his foot in front of Steve to make him trip up. he such a dick. He offered Steve a hand to help him up, he whispered something to Steve that made him look shocked before dropping Steve to the ground. I had to find out what. After basketball me and Steve walked back to his car. 'What did Billy say to you?' 'y/n, he knows.' 'about?' 'us. he seen us from your window.' my face dropped. will he ruin everything for us? 'I don't even want to think about it. It's gonna ruin our summer. let's just get my bags and go.'

- skip past summer cause i'm too lazy to write about it-
