(Kassie P.O.V)

I was hoping that after what had happened me leaving Greece. I thought I would be safe from the wrath of the woman who treated me as a slave. But I guess I was wrong. It made me sad. Would I ever be free of this? I guess not. But if I have my friends to help me, I know I'll be fine. I mean, Penny got kidnapped to Mexico, and Ethan took his friends to rescue her. And I knew that my friends would do the same for me.

But I felt bad for my brothers. I made them worry. And now they were going to have to find both Sirius Black AND the Shadow of Nyx. Even though the two were most likely not connected.

I got discharged from the Hospital Wing the next day. After I got some bed rest. And had to deal with Madam Pomfrey clogging me over and over. Now I was free again. And I would be playing Quidditch again. I wanted to get back on track as soon as possible. Though, there were concerns about me rushing back to things so quickly. But it wasn't like when Rowan was killed and Ethan rushed back into the field.

Only difference was the Quidditch game got delayed to the next week because of the attack on me and Hogwarts. McGonagall argued that it was only fair if Snape could reschedule the Slytherin matches. Then so could Gryffindor.

And for the rest of this time, I would get to make use of my Firebolt. I didn't use it when I first got it out of respect for Harry in practice. It didn't feel right to have to fly on a Firebolt and insult Harry like that. That wasn't how I role.

Ron even came by to check out our team's final practice. And it seems like Hermione and Ron made their peace. Well, for the moment. But it most likely could explode at any second. Harry even offered to let Ron ride on the Firebolt.

If Madam Hooch was on our case before. She was making double time on making sure everything was up to shape with watching over us. Now it seems that Harry and I both were given security look or something over and over.

"Harry. Thanks for not letting me get taken." I thanked him.

"Well, yeah." Harry replied. "Did you really think that I was just going to let them take you? I mean... it was a group effort really."

"You're welcome, by the way." Wood said coming over now.

"And thank you too, Captain." I also thanked. "And Ryan, and Ron, and Neville, and Percy, and Fred, and George, and the Professors, and Beatrice, and Cedric, and all the rest."

"We protect our own, Kassie." Wood assured.

Hooch had looked just as impressed as others had been with the Firebolts. She even gave her full honest opinion of it before takeoff.

"Look at the balance on it! If the Nimbus series had a fault, it's a slight list to the tail end- you often find they develop a drag after a few years. They've updated the handle too, a bit slimmer than the Cleansweeps, reminds me of the old Silver Arrows- a pity they stopped making them. I learned to fly on one, and a very fine old broom it was too..."

"Er- Madam Hooch? Can you give the brooms back to Harry and Kassie?" Ryan asked.

"Oh, right. Here you are then, Potter. And Bauer." Hooch gave the broom back to Harry.

"I'll sit over here with Weasley..."

She and Ron left the field to sit in the stadium, and the rest of the team and us, gathered around Wood for his final instructions before the match tomorrow.

"Listen up, everyone." Wood gathered. "And that includes you, Harry. "I've just found out who Ravenclaw is playing as Seeker. It's Cho Chang. She's a fourth year, and she's pretty good... I really hoped she wouldn't be fit, she's had some problems with injuries..."
