The triumph our victory lasted us at least a victory. Even the weather seemed to be celebrating; as June approached. The days were cloudless and sultry, and all any of us felt like was relaxing on the grounds with several pints of iced pumpkin juice, watching the Giant Squid propel itself across the surface of the lake. A sign that Spring was turning to Summer. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ryan, and I were doing this one day. And I was telling my friends about this one Muggle Rock Song. Or rather singing about it. It was We are the Champions by Queen. "I've paid my dues. Time after time. I've done my sentence. But committed no crime." I sang.

"And bad mistakes." Ron also sang. "I've made a few."

"I've had my share of sand kicked in my face! But I've come through!" Harry sang getting up. He knew this song as well.

And that was when Hermione and Ryan also got up. And we all sang it out: "And we mean to go on and on and on and on! We are the Champions! My friends! And we'll keep on fighting to the end! We are the Champions! We are the Champions! No time for losers! Cause we are the Champions! Of the World!"

Ryan then took the lead. "I've taken my bows. And my curtain calls."

Then Hermione got up. "You brought me fame and fortune and everything that goes with it. I thank you all."

Then it was Harry. "But it's been no bed of roses. No pleasure cruise. I consider it a challenge before The Human Race. And I ain't goanna lose!"

Then we all sang it again. "And we mean to go on and on and on and on! We are the Champions! My friends! And we'll keep on fighting to the end! We are the Champions! We are the Champions! No time for losers! Cause we are the Champions! Of the World!"

"One last time! Let's finish it strong!" I shouted.

"We are the Champions! My friends! And we'll keep on fighting to the end! We are the Champions! We are the Champions! No time for losers! Cause we are the Champions! Of the World!"

And then we all laughed. "Woo!" I shouted.

"You know that song?" Harry asked Ron.

"Dad had a couple of Queen songs with him in studying Muggle CD Players." Ron answered.

"Well... I figured it should be a song that speaks to how we feel right now. On top of the world." I explained.

"As you should." Anubis replied. "You fought hard and you won. You deserve it."

"You should've seen it. My Brothers saw me out there." I said. "And... they were so proud of me." I had tears in my eyes. "And Mater too..."

We couldn't celebrate it long though. Our final exams were almost upon us. As much as lazing around outside was, we forced ourselves to remain in the castle, and bully our brains into concentrating while the summer air drifted into the windows. At least with Quidditch over. We had more time to concentrate on Final Exams. And even Fred and George had been working to take their O.W.Ls, which essentially determines their entire futures. It was also going to determine our futures when we got to that point. But we could worry about that later. We were still 3rd years. And Percy? Well, he was about to take his N.E.W.Ts, the highest qualification that Hogwarts offered. Percy hoped to enter the Ministry, he needed top grades. He also became increasingly edgy, and gave very severe punishments to anyone who disturbed the quiet of the Common Room. So basically, it was quieter than even the Library. And that's saying something.

Ethan never had to worry about N.E.W.Ts though. And that was only because something worse was coming when he was a 7th year. War.

The only person who was stressed out more than Percy though, was Hermione. We already gave up asking how she was attending so many classes, but none of us could resist ourselves when we saw her exam timetable, which read;
