Epilogue: Growing Darkness.

"Well... I say we close the case on this." Mad Eye declared to everyone in the Auror Office.

"You mean with Sirius Black?" Corey asked.

"That would be the one." Mad Eye answered. "Mind throwing the Case File in the trash for me, Ethan?"

"Happy to, Mad Eye." Ethan grabbed the Case File of Sirius Black and threw it in the trash. "Any sign of Larisa or Pettigrew?" He asked.

"No sign." Jacob answered for Mad Eye. He walked forward. "I looked all over. But if Pettigrew is smart, he'll stay a rat. And if Larisa is smart, she'll head back to Greece."

"No way, she'll try something like this again. Good riddance." Corey commented as she wheeled around missing her legs. "You know, she's practically the reason I lost my legs."

"On the lighter side..." Mad Eye continued. "Let's welcome the newest member of our Auror staff, Nymphadora Tonks!"

Tonks ran up to accept her role. And everyone stood up and clapped for her. Except for Corey who couldn't stand. And Jae who was sleeping.

"Can someone wake him?" Mad Eye asked annoyed.

"I'll take it from here." Tonks grinned taking out a screaming yo yo. She went over to Jae. "JAE!" And she used the screaming Yo-Yo to wake up Jae.

"She was taking Memo!" Jae yelled out. His arms flinging in the air that smacked Ethan.

"Every time." Ethan groaned referring to all the times he got smacked in his dorm trying to wake up Jae.

"What happened?" Jae asked.

"Tonks is now officially an Auror." Jacob answered.

"Oh, good work. Tonks." Jae praised.

"Thanks, Jae." Tonks replied.

"You'll make a good Auror, Tonks." Mad Eye grinned. "And um... Ethan. Keep an eye on her and her stack of papers for me will ya." 

"You got it, Mad Eye." Ethan said.

"What do you mean by that, Mad Eye?" Tonks asked noticing the way that Mad Eye spoke.

"That's it for me." Mad Eye answered. "I'm out of the game." 

"What?" Tonks asked shocked. "You're... retiring? You of all people?"

"Eh, This was built up for some time." Mad Eye assured. "I think it's high time I hit the rocking chair after all that's happened. But first..." 

"But first what?" Jacob asked.

"Dumbledore has asked me to be the New Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor for next year. And I'm going to accept." Mad Eye informed

Ethan liked that idea. "Well, I'm sure you can teach my sister, Kassie a few good things-" He said.

"I can teach her Constant Vigilance." Mad Eye offered. "Her, and her friends." 

Ethan figured. "Well, good luck to you, Mad Eye." He wished.  

"Hey, E. Heard you got Tickets to the Quidditch Final. That true?" Corey asked.

"Yeah. The Magical Sports and Games Department owed me a favor. It's how I got tickets. Kassie's coming with us. And of course, so are Penny and Beatrice. They love Quidditch. Jacob and Lizzie are going to be joining us as well." Ethan answered.

"Good fortune to you in the future, kids." Mad Eye grinned. And then he turned serious. "You know... even though we threw that Case File in the trash. The Ministry still wants us to hunt down Sirius Black. We have to stay constant vigilant."
