Ealdor is a beautiful place or so everyone thought. Merlin was 17 when his mother married the King of ealdor. soon after the wedding merlin and his mum moved in with the king merlins stepfather and his mother started abusing him.
it started with hitting and a few insults here and there to full-blown yelling at him and beat him till he was knocked out.
one night after a bad beating merlin decided he wanted to leave ealdor and go someplace different. so he packed a bag with some clothes and some food and he climbed out the window and walked into the forest where no on would find him ever again.
