A/N: The Princess and the Pauper was on the kids' channel this morning ^^ That Seventeen au was actually my favorite book I've written so far even though the story is kinda random lol
Quick rant: there's this family member who still believes I should've gone to med school and keeps bothering me to hell with it. ME. To MED SCHOOL. Excusez moi, but what the fuck? I even dropped out of art college, what the hell did she expect from me? And how many times do I have to tell her that even though it looks like it, unfortunately I'm not good at everything? In fact, I'm barely good at anything! I draw and write shitty books on Wattpad and that's it! Why can't they just leave me alone ffs
Okay I apologize, back to the story, I just wanted to write this down because yesterday I had several panic attacks and I'm starting to believe that I've lost my mind (really really really really lost it)

Taehyun was making his way towards the castle happily when he heard noises from his right. He immediately recognized the sounds of metal hitting metal. He rushed towards the crowd that was surrounding a few people. As he made space for himself, he stood on his tiptoes to see what was going on. The boy gasped. There were four men in musketeer uniform, fighting each other as an entertaining performance for the citizens.
'Hahhha!' laughed out loud the man who was standing on the top of a short staircase. He seemed to be the most qualified out of the four. He had brown hair under his dark blue musketeer hat and some elegant beard.
He quickly unarmed one of the other men as if it was nothing and used the other's sword to fight the other two at the same time.
'See that, Miette?' asked Taehyun excitedly, showing the view to his kitten. The man with two weapons turned around and made a final move, hitting the swords out of both of his opponents' hands. One of the swords hit the ground a few meters away while the other one thrusted into a watermelon that was displayed in one of the grocery shops' showcase. The crowd started clapping and cheering.
'Well, who else wants to stand up against me?' asked the man grinning. Taehyun put down Miette.
'Me!' he raised his hand and stepped forward. The crowd made way for the boy.
'You?' laughed the man. Taehyun raised an eyebrow. 'You want to stand up against me?' the man mocked, making people around him laugh too, pointing towards the slim, pretty-faced blonde boy while whispering to each other. 'How old are you, pretty boy, thirteen?' he asked which made everyone chuckle even harder. Tae frowned.
'No, I'm seventeen! And I'm here to become a musketeer!' he put his hands on his hips and narrowed his eyes.
'You? A musketeer?' snickered the other man. 'You should just leave this work for the big boys, darling. Go home to your mommy.'
Taehyun couldn't stand this humiliation anymore. He jumped towards the sword in the watermelon with a cartwheel, then jumped on a barrel and pulled the blade out, holding it out precisely, just like how he learned. The crowd went silent, surprised by seeing the boy's moves.
'Engarde*!' he shouted. Just then from somewhere another barrel came rolling towards him, but he didn't see it as it was coming from behind him. The huge thing knocked over the one he was standing on, making him lose his balance. The sword fell out of his hand as he landed on the ground hard, groaning as he felt the impact in his lower back. He rolled over onto his stomach while loud laughter emitted all around him as he stood up in embarrassment.
'See, little boy? You still want to be a musketeer? Because it seems like you can barely even stand on your feet!' laughed the first male. Taehyun raised his chin.
