"What is a god to a man and what is man to god this question has plagued many minds for centuries and once every 1000 years the gods gather to give their verdict to this question"
*in a large council room with thousands of gods sitting in a rounded arrangement peering down at one goddess holding a golden scepter decorated with pomegranate vines and grapes was sitting on a large lavish coach wearing a elegant toga with golden trimmings spoke up*
Golden???: so my fellow gods and goddesses it has been 1000 years to this very day when that dreaded tournament of death gave humanity another chance at living and we are here yet again to decide whether or not they deserve it so what say you all?*she points her scepter out towards the gods in hopes for a response*
???:*a god wearing a cloak hiding his left side with with long curling reddish hair clutching a sword at his hip growled and began to speak*they deserve death those ingrates brought shame to us 1000 years ago and they have since shunned us further!!!!
???:*as the curly haired god finished yelling a goddess wearing silvered armor stood from her seat banging a spear to the floor causing it to ring*I for one believe the humans earned their victory 1000 years ago but have since returned to their arrogant ways I have no issue with them being wiped out*after that various other gods began speaking in a up roar some saying to give the humans another chance some saying to wipe them out but all went silent when the doors to the council room were flung open as an old man entered the room slowly making his way in with his hands behind his back the only form of clothing on him was a wrapped white cloth around his waist reaching down to his upper calf's*
Golden???:*her expression turned from one calmness to a angered scowl as she saw this new god enter the room and tightened her grip on the scepter*if it isn't my dear husband Zeus so tell me what brings you here in such a decrepit state
Zeus: ohohoh Hera you know why I'm here*he began to stroke the small beard on his chin chuckling*I'm here to propose something that can help better decide this decision then again I'm sure you would be unamused by it's proposalHera: tch*she stood from her seat and looked her husband in the eye*and what would that be?
Zeus:*opened one eye to reveal it was nearly pitch black except for its bright yellow iris* another Ragnarok*with those two simple words the gods went into yet another uproar before the smash of Hera's scepter leaving a small crater in the floor*
Hera; tell me dear husband why should we do something so barbaric yet again when it caused us to lose the lives of so many important gods two of which were your very own brothers?
Zeus: the reason is simple that death battle tournament taught us one thing if nothing else humans are worthy of being acknowledged in their fate and it proved we gods are not infallible the death of my brothers proved so along with those Valkyries who sided with humanityHera: and if we engage in this fight who would even fight for them half the Valkyrie are dead they have no chance of killing us without them unless you've forgotten but fine let it be known that a second Ragnarok will commence but you my dear husband will choose the humans that will fight in this mighty battle and I shall choose the gods
Zeus: it's fine with me ohohoho now if you need me I shall be off choose your warriors wisely Hera because I won't show you mercy*and with that Zeus left the council room and began to walk the quiet halls of heaven but not before he stopped and chuckled*
Zeus: uuhehehehe another Ragnarok this will be entertaining now then who shall I choose do you perhaps have any ideas*turned his head to see a man with silver hair in a tight large bun wearing a tank top and baggy pants walk up to him*buddha?Buddha: heh yeah whatever old man I've already rounded them up like you've asked me couldn't find a 13th person so I may end up having to fight again but here's the list*hands Zeus a advanced looking tablet which he smiled when he laid eyes on it*
Zeus: perfect heheh
Buddha: ya know I've gotta wonder why are you even doing this those Valkyrie gals who survived ain't gonna be happy that they ain't involved
