'That Night' (Conor Maynard Fanfic)

Part fifteen.. "Hey little sis!"

The police has rang to say that things went great with Becca and she gave Rhea the note and phone. After yesterday leaving the house things have got better, but our parents are now worrying much more. But we can’t all go to each others houses, that would be weird! I called mum to say that me and jack are coming over, least we would be together.

“Hey, mum, haven’t seen you for ages” I said down the phone

“I know, Anna has missed you both, so we’re taking a short brake, we’ve got this cute little cottage that we’re in at the moment.” Mum replied

“Oh, cool, I was think of coming over to see you but as you’re not there there’s no point” least that's saved me a trip!

“Come to the cottage its only a hour away!” she said all excited

“Erm, ok, but we wont be able to stay for long” I said and she gave me the address.

“Ok guys, who wants to go on a short road trip?” I asked, as I walked into the kitchen.

“Where?” asked Jack

“To see mum, dad and Anna,” I explained,

“Yeah bro” Jack said like a gangster, but not a very good gangster…

“But, at least 4 have to stay here and the rest in my car, just in case something happens” I said, I didn't want to go without a bit of back up.

“I’ll come” Says Frances

“Me too,” Liam said straight after, I swear they are joined at the hip!

“And me and Keri will stay here” Anth said, then winked at Keri...

"I'll stay here Jack, I've get travel sickness, bad!" Jade said to Jack.

“I’ll come as I have nobody” Alex sighed

I didn't know where George and Ruby were, oh well.

“Coolie coolie cool, call me if you need to, and if any type of new about Rhea phone me. Please. Inna Beeezzey” I said and left.

"You have to stay in the car though, it would be a bit weird if all of us turn up” Jack said, we was nearly half way there.

“Well obviously” said Liam, we all laughed at Jack who was now bright red.

“It’s alright Jack, there’s no shame in being dumb” Alex said, Jack was starting to get pissed off.

“I’d rather be dumb than to have no girlfriend” Jack snapped back,

“Wow, sorry dude, I was just messing about” Alex said more serious now, taken a back.

Alex and Jack were silent for the rest of the car journey, I swear them two can be worse than some girls arguing. Liam and Frances looked sweet all cuddled up together.

I turned down a dusty road and at the end I saw little cottage with the family car parked out side.

“CONOR” I heard Anna shout, she had obviously seen me drive down the road, as I hadn't even stopped the car when she ran out the door.

“Hey little sis! You ok my gorgeous girly” I said picking her up, and she giggled

“Where’s Rhea?” Anna asked,

“Erm, um, um,” I stuttered, I tried not to cry from the thought of where she was. 

“At work” Jack saved me, I gave him a smile and left the others in the car. We went into the front room and started to chat to dad about work and how my covers are going on you tube. I haven’t put a cover up for ages. I now felt bad, my fan base was getting quite big, it’s not just my nan putting comments on there…

We have been talking for about a hour and a half, and I remembered the guys in the car, I text jack.

SHIT, look at the time, just remembered about them in the car! -Conor

 Fuck, yes better get going! Hope they haven't suffocated from the lack of oxygen... -Jack

I smiled to myself from the text.

“Mum, we have to get going as it’s about to get dark and I don’t like driving at night” I said making a lame excuse,

“Oh, you big girl” Dad said, giving me a hug goodbye. We said our goodbye and got back in the car to see Alex asleep and Liam and Frances kissing ew, they hadn't even stopped as we got in the car! I decided to stop them from kissing and sleeping, I turn the radio on really loud… 

 'Take Care' -My favourite song at the time- blared out, can’t go wrong with some Drake.

“What the fuck was that for” Alex said jerking awake

“To get you awake and them two to stop kissing,” me and jack laughed.

 "It's not that funny," Frances said to Jack crying with laughter.

We was about 20 minutes from home when I saw a sign about quarter of a mile in front.

*HEY CONOR, READ MY NEXT SIGN*

“Jack look at that... sign up there..” I said as calmly as I could.

“Crap, look at the next one.” He replied pointing, as we past the last sign I was the next one.

*TICK TICK TICK TICK.* 

Suddenly I heard a faint ticking noise, I turned the radio down and it became clearer.

"What does that mean?" Alex said, sounding as worried as I felt.

"What do you think?" Liam shouted sarcastically.

“SHIT THERES A BOMB,” I shouted pulling over.

“GET OUT OF THE CAR” Jack shouted.

We scrambled out of the car and jumped down a ditch which was luckily there, just as we heard an explosion, flying car flew over our heads.

“Shit” I mumbled to myself as my ears were ringing from the loudness of the bomb, I climbed out to see the damage. The whole car was half gone and on fire.

“Fucking hell,” I heard Frances say behind me. I pulled out my phone and called George who hopefully going to answer.

“Hey George, guess what that motherfucker has done” I said

“What Olly?”

“Yes, put a bomb in our car, call the police, we’ll get a taxi, ina beeezzeeyy” I said and putting the phone down and into my pocket. I told the guys that I called George and that we have to get a taxi.

“I’ll call one,” Liam said and we sat on the edge of the road waiting to be picked up.

My phone buzzed in my pocket,

Did you like my signs? -Unknown

Urgg, not the fucker again, why did he have to keep texting me? I put my phone away, I will wait to tell the police when we get back.

Finally the taxi was here! We got in, not waiting for the police or fire-men to get there, we had walked down the road so he didn’t question the car.

We walked into the house to see the police already there,

“Hello Conor, I understand that your car blow up.” The usual police officer said

“Yeah, we just managed to get out, there was two massive signs telling us, we think it’s from Olly.” I explained, “Oh, and I got a text” I finished I showed them the text.

“Ok, thanks for telling us, we’ll get some people to look at the car.. well remains of it, anyway, and we’ve got some news…”

Welll, I know how much everyone loves cliffhangers... Hope it was ok! Just like to say thank you for all the reads (again... THREE MORE READS TILL 800!!) votes and comments! It's good to know I'm not a totally crap writer.. Some bad news, it's nearly the end of this fanfic, but I hoping I can make it longer, some how.. But I will be updating every day this week as it's half term, so it should end sometime this week! But I have got another story after this! Comment/Vote/FanOrFollow!Emilyxx
