*Laura's P.O.V*

We get to a house and a boathouse behind the house. I parked the car and get out. The gang also gets out.

"He's hiding in the boathouse," I said. "Reefer Rick is in jail. I'm going to check in on the house. You guys can go see Eddie."

"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Robin asked.

"I don't want to freak him out more," I said. I picked my headphones up from my neck and put them on. I pressed play and headed towards the house. I had forty-three minutes of We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister playing through my headphones. I didn't want that creature to come back and kill me.

I open the door to the house and walked inside.

Mom always said I was a curious girl, but I get that from her. I sat on the couch and took the headphones off and let the music play. I closed my eyes and set my head back.

Hoping all of this was just a dream.

*Steve's P.O.V*

Laura left the group and went into the house. I looked at Dustin, Max, and Robin.

"Are we sure he's here?" I asked. "I mean do we trust her?"

"We have to," Robin says. "Brenner could be hunting for her as well." I sighed and we started to walk towards the boathouse. I open the door and we all walked in.

"Well, he's not here," I said. "So she was wrong."

"You haven't even checked the boat," Dustin says. I sigh. "What is your problem with her?"

"With Laura? Nothing. Nothing is wrong Dustin," I said.

"He has a crush on her," Robin jokes.

"I do not!" I shout as I grabbed a paddle and started to hit the tarp with it.

"Oh, he does!" Dustin exclaims. "She can read minds and that's what you were thinking. You like her!"

"No I don't Dustin," I said as I hit the tarp more. "Shut up! Let's just find Eddie and get the hell out of here." As I was about to hit the tarp again, the tarp flies up and a long hair man comes out with a sharp bottle in his hand. He grabs me and pins me against the wall with the sharp bottle in his hand.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa Eddie!" I heard Dustin say. "Eddie! Stop Eddie!" Eddie looks at Dustin. "Eddie! It's me. It's Dustin. This is Steve." Eddie looks at me. "He's not gonna hurt you. Right? Steve?"

"Right," I whispered out. I was too scared to speak. The man had a bottle in his hand.

"Steve, why don't you drop the oar," Dustin says. I let go of the oar and it falls to the ground. Soon he puts the sharp bottle closer to my neck. "He's cool! He's cool!"

"Yeah, man. I'm cool," I whispered.

"What are you doing here?" Eddie asked.

"We're looking for you. Along with Laura," Dustin says. Eddie looks at Dustin.

"She's here?" Eddie asked.

"She's in the house. She didn't want to freak you out more," Robin says. "We're here to help."

"Eddie, these are my friends. You know Robin. From band," Dustin says. "This is my friend Max. The one who never wants to play D&D. Eddie, we're on your side. I swear on my mother. Right guys?"

"Yes, yes, we swear," Max says.

"On Dustin's mother," Robin says.

"On Dustin's mother," I said. Eddie looks at me. He was shaking and soon let go of me. "Jeez."

"Laura's in the house?" Eddie asked. We all nodded. "Wh-Why didn't she come out here?"

"I think she cares about you. She knows how much she freaked you out with what happened," Robin says. Eddie pushed passed all of us and left the boathouse.

"Where is the freak going?" I asked trying to breathe.

"He's going to see Laura," Dustin says. We all run out the door and follow him.

*Laura's P.O.V*

I open my eyes when I heard the door close. I jumped and saw Eddie standing there. I backed away from him.

"I don't know how to explain what happen last night Eddie," I said. "It freaked me out too." Soon the door opens and closes again.

"You left," He says.

"Because I didn't have answers to anything you would ask," I said.

"I was worried that the same thing happen again," He says. "I didn't know where to find you so I could check up..."

"So you ran here," I said with a smile. "I'm sorry. This has been happening to be since we left New York."

"What do you mean?" Dustin asked. They all walked in and I stayed my distance from Eddie.

"my friends and I were really into D&D. The last campaign we did involve Venca. We did defeat him, but a few days later one of my friends was off. They had severe headaches, nosebleeds and nightmares. Then a few days later they would end up dead with their eyes gouged out and broken bones in ways I cannot explain. I  experience this with my last friend and then it started happening to me. I keep having the same nightmare where I am in my house in New York and I am overhearing my father and mother arguing. As soon as I hear a crash I run into the room and I use my powers to knock my father into the wall hard and he crashes into the bed. Bleeding out. I saw that when I was at Eddie's, but somehow I fought it. Guess when Eddie put my headphones on and played Twisted Sister I found a way to fight the creature."

"That's so awful," Robin says. I nodded.

I looked at Max who was in shock.

"Don't tell me..." I trailed off.

"I have been having the same symptoms," Max says.
