Third Person's Pov

A ray of sunlight peeked through the curtains which moved due to the wind and landed right on Mardiya's face. She used her hand to cover her face with a groan and that was when it clicked to her! The sun is out and she's just waking up. Jumping off her bed, she looked towards the wall clock and it was already past seven am.

She quickly got up from the bed wondering where Khalisa went and talk of the devil, she came into the room already dressed up in her uniform. "What the heck Khalisa! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?"

"Am I the one that normally wakes you up?" She scoffed and that was when she realized that she forgot to turn on her alarm yesterday night before sleeping shoot! Without wasting any time, she went into the bathroom and took a quick shower then brushed her teeth later on.

She dried up in a few minutes and applied her body cream then she wore her underwear and uniform afterwards. She oiled her hair as fast as she could and grabbed her socks, shoes and backpack without forgetting to wear her cap and neck tie.

She rushed down the stairs and only saw Khalil in the livingroom watching Supersports. "Good morning Ya Khalil" She threw her bag on the couch.

"Good morning sis" He smiled cheerfully.

"Where is everyone? And why didn't Mami wake me up earlier?" She asked confusedly.

"Khalisa told her that you guys didn't want to go early today cause your first class starts by nine" He said and she gasped.

"Oh my goodness! We always have an early morning period. Khalisa!!" Mardi shouted her name angrily and she came down with a smile.

"Why did you lie to Mami?" She questioned.

"Just like that anyways be fast, we need to go" Mardiya noticed that she's been smiling and it's really weird. Weekdays mornings are usually not always nice for her so what changed today?

She wanted to ask her but instead decided to have her breakfast cause she's very hungry. She served herself the golden sweet potatoes and onion sauce, she wasn't that big of an onion fan so she only served a little.

She heard Khalil and Khalisa arguing from the dining hut she had no time for them. After she was done with her breakfast she gulped down a three cups of warm water and dashed to the kitchen to wash the plate then grabbed her water bottle from the fridge on her way back.

"Let's go, I'm ready" She said to her after picking up her bag and wearing her shoes.

Instead of answering her, Khalisa stormed out of the livingroom probably angry at Khalil so she just shook her head.

"Bye Khalil" She hugged him goodbye and trailed behind Khalisa till they got into the car.

As usual, she plugged her AirPods into her ears because she's taking her phone with her to school today for a reason called boredom.

Normally, the assembly would have been taking place cause it always starts by eight am but no one was outside the building except the non academic staff and they were all whispering to each other and pointing at Mardiya. She looked around confusedly and shrugged, before continuing her journey to class and as soon as she got into the school premises, she saw torn and squeezed flyers all around and all the students were either looking or pointing at her.
