Next Day,

It was raining cats and dogs in the country's capital like that would be the last time rain will ever fall, well that's what people thought because a huge traffic jam was caused on the highway cause people could hardly see the road and the day was ending anyway so everyone is going back home so they were lots of cars. Some honked out of annoyance because they were trying to get out.

Mardiya was very unfortunate to have left school late today and it started raining very heavily so the traffic jam happened. And Mami always warns her on driving in the rain no matter how little it's falling that's why it never ends well if she drives her Mami somewhere, they always end up arguing.

"Oh my goodness! How on earth am I supposed to get home now?" She said almost crying to herself. Thank goodness she had snacks in her car or else she would have died right there in the car. She stuffed her face with a strawberry jam filled doughnut and later sipped her milkshake all in the while listening to her favorite song which was booming through the speakers.

Her eyes flashed as soon as she heard a loud crash behind her and her heart dropped to her stomach. She turned around and looked back, she couldn't see well due to the rain which had actually calmed down a lot but it was obvious that an accident has taken place, a bad one.

She wanted to go out so bad and see what was going on so she took an umbrella from the backseat and went out knowing she's probably risking a lot.

People had already surrounded the cars and she couldn't see the victims but hearing people should that the person is dead made her entire body still and the rain started pouring heavily once again, seeing a trace of blood made her loose control of herself and she started sobbing not caring if anyone was paying attention to her.

She got back to her car after an ambulance and the road safety arrived. The rain stopped for good this time, we'll hopefully and the traffic jam was cleared in a matter of minutes and everyone found his or her way.

She just saw human blood! A dead human to be precise. She kept whispering 'Innalillahi Wainna Ilaihi Raji'un' as she could hardly see the road and it came as a surprise to her that she actually reached home safely. With shaky hands, she picked up her handbag and locked the car before entering into her house where she met her mother and brother pacing worriedly in the livingroom.

"Mardiya where were you and where did you drop your phone?! We've been calling you for the past 1 hour but you didn't pick! And why are you so drenched?" Mami questioned angrily.

"Please calm down Mami, come on sis. Have a seat" Khalil held her by the shoulders and sat her down on the couch before quickly turning off the air conditioners because she started shivering.

Mami got a towel for her and covered her up with but she still wasn't talking. "Sis please speak up, you're making us very worried right now. You said you were going to be back around 4 and now it's past 6 and we've been calling your phone since but you didn't pick and now..you've come back drenched and you seem to have been crying, what happened? Please speak up!!"

"I witnessed an accident okay?! I saw...I saw blood, the victim died in the car right behind my own! What if it was me in that car? Ya Allah I feel so terrified" The waterworks began once again and Khalil engulfed her into a hug even though she drenched his clothes.
