The plot begins
Bonnie's POV | 17 years old

I gave all my friends mind shield spells, which basically blocks any compulsion, even from the originals.

Its actually really helpful, considering how many times the Scooby Doo gang failed their missions due to the eldest vampires compulsion.

And the house I had vampires compel people to build me— is officially finished. I still payed the crew, and everyone who all contributed to building it but they just won't remember where they got that money from.

I even decorated the whole house— which includes almost 15 rooms; each have their own bathroom and walk-in closet.

Might be a bit much but what can I say, I expect company.

Then there's the living room, the kitchen, a movie room that had 2 Alaskan king beds next to each other for sleepovers— even though we all live together. And lastly it had a pool.

After the house was fully built and decorated, everyone moved in except Jeremy because he's still with Aunt Jenna but he's over almost every day, so it's like he basically lives here.

I convinced Caroline's mom with a little compulsion per Carolines request, so it is what it is.

Matt and Vicki's mom left so they both moved in, not needing anyones permission. Tyler also moved in easily as I threatened to show everyone a video of Richard straight up uppercutting his own son.

I wanted to help and protect Tyler of course but he made me promise I wouldn't— since he wanted me to get proof for that exact reason.

We still ended up leaking the video so Richard lost his position as mayor. So for now his assistant is Mayor, until someone actually gets elected. Probably his wife.

Then his big angry ass tried to start a fight with us after pulling up to grams house. Luckily I was there and gave him a big migraine as grams called the police so now he's rotting in a jail cell for a bit— while also remembering the feeling of his brain cells somewhat melting.

Of course grams could protect herself but why should she put herself in harms way if she has me.

Back to the house situation, I also have rules which are -

1.clean up your mess

2.NEVER invite people in unless I approve because they could be vampires.
(Matt doesn't know about the vampire part.)

3.Elena or any Elena lookalikes are not allowed in here.

4.Never tell Elena this address

Matt didn't understand the third one but the group did as I explained to them what doppelgängers were. He also had some problems with a few of the rules but after an argument that included Vicki telling him how it's not his house, he shut up.

And since I burned down Wickery Bridge I didn't think the Gilberts would pass away but turns out you can't change big events.

They still ended up crashing into something after picking Elena up from the party— except this time it was a tree which went through the car and I guess Stefan still saved her, since the news said it was a "miracle" she made it out.
