Aether pov:

I was just in the living room with Venti and xiao waiting for the rest to arrive, around 6 minutes later everyone came. "Hi guys let's go to the living room" I heard Venti say as he greeted people at the door. "The first game that we're going to play is dare or shot" Venti said for some reason he sounded very excited, probably because there's alcohol involved, classic Venti.

"Alright I'll start" "aether dare or shot?" Xingqiu asked me. "Dare" I don't know why but I was really nervous, and I most certainly didn't want to drink. "I'll start of easily, you have to tell us you favourite song writer".I didn't even need to think about that and said," Alice In chains".I quickly saw the others stare at me in confusion, the only person that wasn't confused was xiao, did he listen to Alice In Chains as well?

It's Lumines turn to ask someone's, she quickly realized what she could do and smirked."chongyun, I know you have a crush and they're in this group right now, I dare you to go up to them and kiss them".All I could think of was 'oh god he's going to embarrass himself'. I saw chongyun slowly go up to xingqiu and look at him as if he's asking for permission to kiss him.Soon enough we see not only that chongyun is kissing xingqiu but that xingqiu actually kissed him back.

~a few rounds later~

Xiao POV:

A few rounds had passed and most people had taken 1 shot, well expect aether, to my surprise Lumine actually had 2 shots. We decided to play a game where 2 people go to a different room and tell each other secrets, Lumine decided not to play anymore so she actually ended up going home. Before I could ask anyone to go with them I noticed that everyone expect Aether where already in pairs picking out the rooms they will tell their secrets in. "Hi Xiao, since your the only one left and so am I, want to go together?" I hear him ask. I nod my head I'm agreement as we settle on which room we go to, we ended up choosing a spare guest room.

Aether pov:

We walk into the guest room and just stare at each other blankly, I could tell that the secrets Xiao was going to say weren't gonna be happy ones but I decided to not say anything about it and just be there for him."So, who is going first?"I ask. "Uhh can you go first if you don't mind, I'm not really into this whole telling secrets thing" I heard Xiao say, he looked nervous so I just nodded my head."Uhh so, I used to get bullied in school until moved to this school"I said with a blank face while trying not to remember all the things they said. Xiao on the other hand looked a bit surprised? "I nearly failed history this year" Xiao spoke. "Oh I can help you with history if you want to!" I said energetically.

Xiao pov:

Me and Aether exchange small secrets for maybe like 3 minutes, nothing big really, half if yen weren't even secrets probably. We agreed that for the last one we would say serious secrets.its Aether last turn and he looks like he's on verge of crying just from thinking about it, could it really be that bad?"My sister, Lumine, was missing from birth and I only found her after my parents died 2 years ago"His parents are dead? And he only found his sister 2 years ago or even less? How is he even able to be happy after that? Before I knew it I saw him crying. I hesitantly asked if he's ok and went over to him. I hugged him, at first he was confused why I'm hugging him, to be honest I act as if I don't like hugs and all that, but I actually love hugs. He places his head on my shoulder and cried.I stood there comforting my friend until he stopped crying. "I'm sorry for that, also you don't have to tell me your secret if you don't want to".

Xiao pov:

"Aether you don't have to apologize for crying, your only human too, we all have feelings that need to be let out from time to time"I started saying as I continued my sentence "also it's only fair if I tell you my secret as well". Aether simply nodded due to his exhaustion from crying. "Aether my biggest secret is that.. I like you".

Aether pov:

I stood there in shock. Xiao likes me? "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that" I suddenly heard him say. "Xiao... I... Like you as well".I say before gently, but passionately kissing him, at first he seemed shocked but quickly melted into the kiss.

Xiao pov:

Aether kissed me, oh my god there's no way he just kissed me. Wait what time is it, we should probably head back. " hey Aether, we should probably head back now" I said as I saw Aether nod after I finished speaking.

~living room~

Aether pov:

We left the room, I still can't believe I kissed Xiao. As we enter the living room I see Venti and the rest drunk on the couches fast asleep, I guess they drank too much. Since we didn't know where the bedrooms are we can only use the guest room, since we obviously won't be snooping through his house. We help the others by bringing them their sleeping bags and placing them into the sleeping bags that we put on each individual couch. Me and Xiao we going to go home originally but since they are drunk we should help them in the morning, which also means we don't have our sleeping bags. We went to the guest room only to realize there's 1 bed.

~guest room~

Xiao pov:

Oh god there's only 1 bed and we don't have our sleeping bags, this will be... Awkward? "Hey Aether, there's only 1 bed and the rest of the people took up all the couches, so is it ok fi we sleep in the same bed?" I saw, I can feel my cheeks starting to go a slight peach colour. "I don't mind to be honest, all we are going to do is sleep anyways?" I heard Aether say I walked towards the bed, we got into to bed ready to sleep.

Aether pov:

I lay down my back facing Xiaos as I started to feel sleep take over my body, I felt a pair of hands wrap around my stomach pulling me close. Wait? Xiao is hugging me, I suddenly feel my cheeks get warm but I decide to ignore it. I turn around and hold Xiao close, his head resting on my chest as I brush my hand through his hair. Out of nowhere I hear a faint "I love you" come from Xiao, I reply by saying "I love you too Xiao" with that we both fall asleep with the moon light hitting our faces from out the window.
