Hi guys, before I start I'd like to mention a few things first

1, This one-shot probably won't include a as much of Xiaother but the next part will.

2, I do not recommend reading the next part without reading this one first as the main context will be missed, although I will try make it not need too much context for anyone that is here just for Xiaother.

Aether Pov:

"Where is this map even leading me to for gods sake, I've been walking around for hours now and Paimons' not even here, how boring". I was so done with the quest I was sent off to do that at this rate I started to just mumble random shit to myself. Where is Paimon you ask, well she left to go to Xiangling to help her with cooking for the next week-ish. Honestly I'm kind of glad, not because I dislike Paimon but she can be draining at times. 

I started climbing to the top of a random mountain i found, I started realizing that my stamina was running low so i stopped and just dropped down using my glider and then using my weapon to support the fall since I didn't have much time to do what I was trying to achieve. I looked around to make sure that no one was around and summoned my wings. I swiftly got to the top, I kept on feeling as if someone was staring at me from a distance but whenever I would look around I couldn't see anyone,it was strange but i just chose to ignore it because there was nothing I could do about it in the end.

I end up walking into a massive fatui hide out, I start to hesitate as I get ready for combat, the electro fatui swings his hammer at me but missed. As I was fighting well over 10 fatui scums I didn't notice one of the pyro ones charging his rifle, ready to shoot. As I saw the bullet approaching rapidly a hydro and cryo fatui hut me at the same time, making me freeze and unable to block the shot, resulting in it maelting the ice and hitting me, considering that it was infused with pyro.

I pushed on 'I'm not dying in a place like this, no way, what would Lumineers think' .
As I start to get lost in thought the second last fatui spawns a geo structure, which ended up making a deep cut in my arm, needless to say I let out a bloodcurdling scream out of pain as my vision started to blur, last thing I remember before fainting, was me falling down the mountain, then everything turned black as I passed out but ended up waking up again, knowing that I can't just give up, so I try to grip onto a ledge of this mountain, but it was too slippery due to the rain.

The last thing I hear before once again loosing consciousness was a extremely loud scream, it sounded like... My name..?
