Chapter 5- Gerudo town

Link (POV)

We woke up and it was raining. Heavily. We decided to leave when it stopped which according to the slate was at noon.

We decided to hang around the village. Zelda said she wanted to play with the children so we went to find them. I was happy to see Kass there. I went up to him and waved "Ah, we meet again!" He exclaimed. I nodded "Im taking a break from my calling to enjoy some musical frivolity with my daughters." I smiled. He was a very good father and his kids obviously adored him.  "Though it might not be in my power, I commit my wish as song...that this peace might last forever." He continued "...by the by, I've something I must ask of you. I need you to hear a song." He said while Zelda was off watching the birds sing in awe. "If it pleases you, could you come back here later? After the sun is down? Ever so sorry for the trouble." He said. I shook my head dismissively. "I'll be here." He smiled and I walked back over to Zelda who didn't want to interupt the kids and here dad.

We decided that the rain was light enough for us to get going so we got on our horses and galloped away. It wouldn't take too too long to get there. We would just go through the canyons and it would lead us right to the desert. I told Zelda about how I needed to go back to rito village later tonight and that I wanted her to stay inside the town walls the entire time. After all the yiga were walking distance from gerudo town. She understood and said she would stay inside of the sleeping chambers.

At 1 o'clock we got to the cara cara Bazar and that's when Zelda asked me the dreaded question "Oh um link... how are you going to get inside?" I looked away embarrassed "I'll be right back..." I muttered sulking over to an empty room I always changed in.

I put on my white gerudo outfit that I had dyed in hateno village. I sighed and walked back out walking to Zelda.

I tapped her shoulder "Oh uhm hello! Can I help you?" She asked. I giggled a little before taking the mask halfway off my face putting a finger to my lips shushing her playfully. She gasped and put her had over her mouth "Oh my link that's quite the outfit you have got on there. Could I see the slate real quick?" I gave it to her confused and she quickly took a picture. I put my hand out shaking them as well as my head in disagreement. She only laughed harder snorting which made me laugh too.

We walked to gerudo town together while Zelda babbled on about how excited she was to get hyrule going again. I was happy for her.

We said hello to the guards and walked in. Me and ruji were good friends now but Zelda wanted to go in alone again which I totally understood. I would say hello after.

I bought all of the old ladys arrows even though it seemed kind of stupid to buy more but this was my favorite arrow store besides tarry town. They both sold everything. Then I went into the jewelry shop for no particular reason. I just liked how it smelled.

I saw that they were selling something new. They were selling diamond earings. Same effects just different style. My mind went to Zelda. She didn't have any kind of head peice so maybe she needed one? When I got closer I saw that it also came with a necklace. It was gorgeous and intricat and would look even better if Zelda wore it.

I got the shop owner to make it for me. It was pricy and needed 5 diamonds but it was fine. I sold all my other gems and got my money back on track.

I got a little red case for the jewelry. I realized that zeldas birthday was coming up the day after tomorrow after I looked at the calendar. July 24th was her birthday.. it was the 22nd. How ironic that I bought it without realizing.

I sat down in town Square with a hydromelon in hand and I ate it while shoving it up my mask. It was really good.

Zelda came back looking pleased as she did the other ones "Riju said she could spare some of her troops to defeat monsters while all of the other people work. Im ever so thankful!" I smiled and unexpectedly hugged her. She hesitated but hugged back "link... what's this for?" I smiled "Im happy for you."
