chapter 6 : where's Riely?

Mackenzie's pov

Me and Caden are talking about this magic thing when the ground suddenly shakes.

"What was that?" I ask Cade a bit confused by this
"I don't know let's go check" Cade says standing up and lending out his hand for me to take. Before I could take his hand the ground shakes again making me roll to the other side of the crystal room. It shakes plenty of times and then stops. When we're sure it's not going to shake again we stand up, with Caden rushing me to the queen's room.

When we enter the room everyone is already here.

"Princess you're alright" the queen says sighing relieved that I'm safe.

"What was that out there?" I ask her rushing into the room.
Cade closes the door behind him before the queen speaks.

"The shadows. Their becoming very impatient with not finding you and began shaking the boat to make it easy to find you" she says.
"I don't think it's going to be too safe here we need to try and move you and your friend out of here" Kyle says.

" I agree, you're not safe here" Josh comments making me glare at him.

" And you get a say in any-... " I stop talking once I realize something.

" Wait wait wait, Where's Riely???"
They all look at each other confused.

"I thought you were in the room already when I dropped her off,I thought she was with you" Kyle says panicking.
"It's okay, I'm sure she's okay" the queen says as I rush out to find her with Cade following behind me.

I reach the room opening it slowly. I look around the room in search for her when I almost trip over something, looking down I see Riely lieing unconscious on the floor.

"Riely!!" I scream.
"Omg omg Riely!!" I panick as I kneel down and put her head in my lap.
Just then Cade rushes in.
"Rielys head is bleeding, Cade" I say still panicking.
He rushes to me and picks Riely up from the floor putting her on the bed.
He checks the scratch on her head.
"It's quite deep" he frowns.
Kyle and Josh comes rushing inside.
"What happened" Kyle says looking at Rielys head.

"The cut is deep, I think it's because of how sharp the crystal was... Help me I need this to heal, it can't heal itself because of how weak she probably is" Cade says inspecting and ready to do something when the cut closes by itself having no trace of any blood or any scratches.

" What just happened?? " I asked very confused about this.

Rielys eyes open and their glowing. But just as it started it ended.

Her eyes shut and it flutters open. "Ughh what the hell?" She says as she sees all of us looking down at her.

"Whats wrong with you guys, why are you looking at me like that?" She asks as she stuggles to get up.

" So you're telling me that I just healed my own wounds? " Riely asks confused.

" Yep"
" Yeahh"
" Precisely"

" Okay I still don't get it, what just happened? How did Riely even..?When is it all gonna end? The shadows?? Where did all of this come from? Why..." Im interrupted by Riely.

" Kenzie you're rambling" she says glaring at me like I'm crazy. I glare back at her.

" Okay let me explain everything" Cade says making me and Riely turn to him.
" The shadows they're being controlled, so whoever is behind all of this his playing his role quite nicely. We may not know who he is but we do know why he wants you" he says pointing to me.

" So why do they want me? " I ask him.
He smiles sadly and continues.

" You're the last moonlight princess that'll live" Cade says.

He begins walking across the room towards the bookshelf. He turns to us and turns back. He starts walking sliding his hand against the middle row books and the stops. He grabs ahold from one book and pulls it towards him. The only weird thing about this whole charade is that the book doesn't come completely out. No. Instead Cade takes a step back and the bookshelf slides to the left revealing a dark dark room. Cade turns to us.

"Follow me" he says then disappears into the dark.

I look at everyone else and their contemplating whether to follow him or not.

"Babies" I mumble as I walk across the room to the open bookshelf.
I take my steps inside and for a moment everything isn't moving but then I'm going up or down I don't know. I close my eyes and when I open them, I'm standing in a library. It has big long ailes it looks like it goes to infinity, and the bookshelves are tall, like really tall. I can't even see where the roof could be. It's beautiful actually. As I'm looking around I spot Cade leaning against a bookshelf and looking at me. He smiles and I smile back.

"Woahh" I hear Kyle say from behind me. I turn around to see Kyle, Riely, and Josh looking around too. But someone is missing.

"Hey Cade, where's the queen at?" I ask him turning back to him.
I see him walk towards us.
"She had some things to see to but don't worry, I know what I'm doing" he stops infront of me and smirks.
"Ofcause you do" I roll my eyes at him.

"Sooo, Caden the Shofar, where exactly are we?" Riely asks from next to me.

Cade smiles, " Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to there magical library" he says a little too excited.

'My life is really magical huh'
