chapter 10: The Geens

Year 1445
Lina Hidalgo's pov

I wake up with a jolt, and Meaya rushes to me.
"Princess Lina, are you alright?"

"I'm splendid, Meaya." I say to her, I smile at her.

"You're not in pain are you?" She asks worriedly.
I stand up from my bed and go to my wardrobe. I take out my coat and put it on.
"Don't worry Meaya, I'm alright. I just have to be somewhere right now" I look her way and give her a reasuring smile.

"Where are you off to Madam Lina?" Meaya asks me.

"Please don't worry Meaya, I'll be back soon. If anyone asks about me could you please tell them I'm off forra walk." I state.
She looks like she's about to denie so I walk to her and take her hands in mine.

"Please Meaya, I need to see to something before it's too late" I plead to her.
She takes a look at me trying to find something, a promise maybe.
She nods.
" Just make sure you return safe and sound... You know how they are" she says. I give her a big grin.

" Ohhh thank you so much Meaya, it means so much to me!! " I hug her tightly and then im  out.

I reach an old neighborhood. It looks Abit creepy but I need to do this.
I need to save my people.
I'm walking down the neighborhood when I reach an old big red house.
' The geens'
Leo told me about this place, he said I'd get the answers I need before my 5 days are up.
I walk to the door and knock.

Now
Mackenzie's pov

"Who are The Geens?" Riely asks just as Cade finishs.

"An emortal family who've live for centuries. They are the family that created the mindset for the moonlight princesses to be born. They helped Lina see what she had to, gave her the answers she needed." Cade states.

"So are they still alive?" Riely asks.

"Nobody's seen or heard from them in the last decade, but it's possible they're still alive" Josh answers.

" They've been living in the shadows for decades after Lina's departure" Cade continues.

" Some say, Dilin Geen, the youngest male of the Geen family fell inlove with Lina in five days. It doesn't sound possible but it might be true" Josh says after Cade.

" I FOUND IT!!! " Kyle screams from the other side of the room. We all look to see him coming with a book. He takes his seat next to Riely throwing the book face up on the desk.

" A Geens first love" Riely reads out.

" Wait. We just listened to Lina knocked on the door. Why did she need answers to the Geens? " I ask outloud.

" Because of the vision. We don't know what was in the vision nor do we know why she needed answers 5 days before she died, but we do know there was a love story behind this" Cade says getting into story mode.

Year 1445
Lina Hidalgo pov

"Princess? To what do I owe this pleasure for?" A beautiful lady asks immediately after opening the door. Her eyes being the moonlight color as her black short hair touches her shoulders.

" Amelia Geen?" I ask not sure. Leo told me how I'd know it's her, I didn't know I would be so careless to not think of a plan but I needed to meet the Geen family.
She frowns for only a minute and then she smiles.
" Yes I am Amelia, please come inside! " She says opening the door wider so I could step inside.
I smile her way before stepping inside.

"I know this is a bit too soon but I need answers.." I begin to speak but Amelia cuts me off.

" Please, there's no need to explain. I find it Leo told you about me? " She asks Leading me somewhere. I nodd to answer her question.

" I suppose you know who I am then?" She asks.

"Not really... Leo only told me I'd get the answers I need from you and this house" I say looking around. She smiles.
As we walk, there are paintings that are just marvelous, it's got this passion and everything.
When we reach a door Amelia turns to me.

"I'll give you the answers you need soon, but I can't remove the destiny bestowed upon you" she tells me nicely.
" Before we do any explaining or anything, I'd love for you to meet the entire Geen family" she says giving me a kind smile. I smile back at her.

"How ever you wish Amelia" I say to her kindly.
She gives me her biggest grin then trns back to the door.
As she opens the door, my hands begin to shake.
Am I nervous?
If so then for what?

When the door is completely open, she ushers me inside. All five heads snap to me when I get inside. I'm shaking even more now. I get attention as much as a princess should being a princess myself but the attention I'm getting now... Is a bit unsettling.

Everyone stands up from there seat as Amelia puts an arm around my waist.

"Everyone, meet princess Lina Hidalgo!" She says excitedly.
"Princess Lina, it's lovely to meet you!" Says a quite handsome man as he approaches me. He gives out his hand for me to shake.
"Rio Geen, the head of the family and Amelias husband" he says while shaking my hand. He gives me a kind smile and then smiles at Amelia. You could see they were inlove by the way he looked at her... it was beautiful, as he moves to stand beside her, I realize he too has the eye color of the moonlight.

The next person to step forward is a guy. He seems to not be interested in this at all. He seems like the strong one maybe?

"Jack Geen, the first son of the Geen family" he gives me his hand to shake,I protest whether to shake his hand or not...his quite scary. But I shake his hand nevertheless giving him a smile. He doesn't return the smile tho,he just nods stepping out of my presence.

Next are twins perhaps?
" I'm Kira and this is Mira Geen" one of them says. They both smile and I return their smile. They both hold out their hands making me giggle a bit.
I cross my arms around so that I could shake both of their hands.

And then, the last person. I turn to the most beautiful man I've ever seen, his eyes being moonlight too, actually the entire family has those. He's got black hair, and his skin is lighter than his father perhaps.
He takes my hand in his and kisses it gently. The butterflies in my stomach is not helping either. I can feel my cheeks getting quite warm too.

"It's a pleasure to meet you my princess" he says standing straight up, not leaving my hand.
"The pleasure is all mine... And you are?"  I ask almost uncertain.
He smirks and then bows down to me.

"Dilin Geen, at your service princess"
