Valorant One Shot

"If you are going to be apart of what we do, you need to listen to me. Yes, you have powers, and you are going to be able to do amazing things with them, but they are not the be all and end all. You need to be able to fight." Jett curled her hand info a fist and fiercely swung it at your cheek, you tucked your head down and stepped out of the way.

"Don't worry, I've got this all under control." You said with a cocky smirk. "I don't need to be able to hit you, as long as you can't hit me." Jett chuckled at your naivety as she swept her leg in a deep arc which you had managed to just about jump over, but to your surprise she brought her second leg over and harshly planted her foot in the centre of your chest. With great force you flew backwards and landed on the training mat with breathless lungs and a tight pain across your ribs.

"Look that might have worked in your little school brawls and whatever other senseless violence you got up to, but we are working with a little higher calibre here. If you can't throw a punch... or take a punch you will be stuck behind a desk running admin work and filling out damage reports, and I know you weren't recruited for that." You looked deep inside yourself and let Jett know why you had been whisked away from your family and asked to join the Valorant initiative, you tightly clenched your fists, and a hard, stone plating covered all the way up to your elbows. "All right, that is what I'm talking about! That is one cool power, now throw some shots at me, I want to see what those bad boys can do!" You swung your stone fists at Jett, narrowly avoiding her as she ducked and weaved around them as you sent a flurry of blows at her. Jett smiled as she summoned a cloak of daggers around her, you brought your hands up to your face as blade after blade bounced off and landed on the mat. Once the last dagger had struck you charged at Jett and struck her in the shoulder. With a deep groan she fell to the ground clutching her arm. With a deep regret you unclenched your fists as the stone slowly began to flake off, you rushed over to help.

"Don't worry." She said, noticing the worry and distress in your eyes. "Sage will get me patched up in no time, and it was only fair, I did throw knives at you. We need to work a bit on your strike placement, but I can see some very strong potential in you."
