The Wilds One Shot

Fatin studied your face. Since you had met on the flight, you had been interested in each other, not that you were going to admit it, but you did make it clear that you enjoyed spending time together. From what she knew of you, she considered you everything her parents had wanted from her- perfection. At first, she thought it was going to be an issue that would make her despise you but actually it made her admire you; that was why it baffled her as to why now you weren't the one insisting you headed back to the group to tell them about the water.

"Want to go for a dip?" You smiled, shimmying your shoulders and shaking her hand that you were holding.

She didn't need to be told twice. She pulled her t-shirt over her head before slipping off her jeans and shoes, leaving her in her underwear. You tried to not stare but it felt almost impossible to not look at the girl you had fallen for when she exposed herself to you like that.

"You coming?" She grinned running towards the waters edge, before throwing herself into it.

You couldn't help but roll your eyes at her as you followed her suit, stripping down to your underwear as well and diving in behind her.

Once you breached the surface, you looked for Fatin, finding her swimming towards the small waterfall. You followed her, swimming through the cascading water to find her treading water in the little section of water between the wall of water and stone of the cliff.

"I'm glad we found this," she said softly, pushing her dark hair from her face.

"We might actually manage to survive here," you added.

Fatin shook her head. "Not that, although obviously that's a good thing, but I meant, I'm glad that you and I found this together."

You weren't sure what she meant. You scanned her face but before you could come to a conclusion, she had put her hands onto your upper arms, pulling you into her, pressing her lips firmly to yours, not caring about pushing the two of you into the fall of water. Pulling away, you both gasped for air, from not only the other's lips but the liquid that had been falling atop of you.

"Wow," you squeaked, having thought of the moment for ages but never having actually expected it to happen. "I didn't think this day could get any better."

Fatin rolled her eyes at you playfully. "Now we just need to see a plane land on the island, and it would be perfect."
