Rose POV
I arrive at the café and get a text, from Raven.
OMG, did you know that Ashley and Kate slept together. It was bound to happen. I am sorry. :(
I reread the message over and over again, not caring that I am standing in front of the doorway, like a total weirdo. I can't believe it. Did I really believe he actually liked me? It was obvious, no one could actually like me. I was too dumb too believe it. This must have happened, right after school.
I put my phone in my pocket and entered the café. I walked to the staff room, and took my hoodie off. Thank god, I was wearing a long sleeve top. I put the apron around me, and walked out the door. I walked out till, Sophie came and hug me. I flinched, I don't mean to, but I can't help it. But I think she understands. I serve so many tables. Families look so happy, parents gazing at their children with love. I sigh to myself.
Sophie comes up to me, "Could you please go to table 3?"
"Sure," I reply. She thanks me and goes away. The café is always busy, everyone loves and knows Sophie.
I went to table 3, and could you guess who was there. The one and only, badboy and playboy, Ashley.
I still haven't forgotten about him and Kate sleeping together.
Is that how he treats girls? Just use them for his use? I felt disgusted and angry. To be honest, I don't know why I was angry but I was. Was I jealous? I mentally scoffed, that would be insane.
I smiled, my fake smile. I used it when I wasn't bothered with someone.
"What can I get for you today?" I said in a sweet, fake voice.
"Can't I have you, princess?" He teased, with a smirk on his face.
I scowled at that, who is he to call me that?
"NO, YOU CAN'T HAVE ME, AND I AM NOT YOUR PRINCESS."
I gasped, I was shocked at my outrage. I quickly looked down, feeling shy all of a sudden. The floor seemed so interesting. OH, there is a stain on it, I'll clean that, I decided.
"Not so shy now, are you?" I hated his annoying teasing. I was going to say anything, but he interrupted, probably sensing my outburst.
"Order whatever's on today menu."
"Sure, it will be coming soon." I said in my fake, sweet voice. I don't think I ever shouted, he's bring out he worst in me, I sighed.
Happy to get away from him, I walked away.
