I get out of the car and run towards the lake, I quickly stop when I see police cars and Jason sitting with a towel. I duck and hide behind a bush and try to see if I can find Eddie anywhere. The police walks into reefer ricks house with Jason to talk to him and I get up from behind the bush, where the fuck are you Eddie?? I think while walking to the boathouse. Carefully I open the door to not make a sound and I walk in, everything is the same as it was when I left. While walking over to the table I see the Walkman laying on it, "you were supposed to take this you idiot" I say and pick it up. "well, at least you got the walkie talkie" I say and walk out of the boathouse again, I carefully close the door behind me and run towards my car. Quickly I get in and drive away from the boathouse. "guys we got kind of have an emergency" I say in my walkie talkie while driving, "what's up?" I hear Lucas voice talking. "so you know how Eddie is supposed to hide in the boathouse right?", no one speaks for a few seconds and then I hear Dustin "omg that idiot, where is he?" he says. "I think he is hiding somewhere on the other side of the lake, I saw the boat on the other side and the police is here talking to Jason" I quickly say not really having the time to explain everything I heard and saw. Someone sighs loudly and then I hear Dustin "isn't Skull rock on the other side?" he asks and I hear Steve say yes in the background, probably driving. I start driving towards the skull rock and I turn on my radio, "alright I'll see if he is there, I'll talk to you guys when I know more" I say and put down the walkie talkie on the seat next to me. The road takes a turn to the right, following lovers lake's shape and I start driving a bit faster to get there sooner.

Too shy by Kajagoogoo is playing in my Walkman as I walk in the woods towards towards skull rock. " CAUSE YOU'RE too shy-shy, hush-hush, eye to eye" I sing while walking to the beat of the music, I know this song is quite happy and not fitting the situation but I don't want to be sad all the time even though I know this Vecna creep is killing everyone. The small sticks crack under my shoes as I keep walking and the slight wind is blowing through my hair. I jump down from a tree trunk and I'm finally at skull rock, "Eddie are you here? it's e y/n" I say and take off the Walkman headphones. The wind gets a bit stronger for a few seconds and I see dark brown hair flying in the air as I look up to see Eddie standing on top of the rock like a proud super hero. I hold my hand to block the sun to see him better, "hey there big boy" I say and smile at him. He smiles back at me and jumps down from the rock, "hey there pretty boy" he says while walking up to me. We hug each other before going back to the rock to sit down, "so what happened?" I say and look at him. "I was in the boathouse when I heard voices talking about finding me so I hid under the tarp in the boat" he says and plays with his rings, "but when I heard that the voices came closer I panicked and did what I do now, I ran. Well not literally, I took the boat and tried to row away from Jason and Patrick". I nod while listening to him, "when I had gone quite far out in the lake they saw me and that's when you started talking in the walkie talkie. I think you know what happened next" he says and looks at me with bits of fear in his eyes. I nod again, "I'm so sorry you have to witness all this" I say and put my hands on his rings. He puts his head on mine and lets out a sigh, "at least you are here with me" he whispers and I smile at the words. I put my head against his chest and we sit like that for a while just enjoying each others presence.

I lean back to look at Eddie, "I'm so glad you're okay" I say and look at him seriously. "yeah me too" He says and smiles at me, "I'm really not as brave in the real world as in d&d" he says and laughs a bit. I chuckle and play with his rings as always, it's kind of become a habit at this point. "you really like my rings" Eddie says and I can hear the smirk on his face, "well yeah, they suit you so well it's almost like they are a part of your body" I say bluntly. I look up at his face and his cheeks are a slight bit pink, before I can say anything his lips crashes onto mine. At first I don't really do anything because of how unexpected it was. He starts slowing down and I can feel how he is slowly pulling away since I'm not responding, before he can do so I quickly press my lips to his and answer his kiss. The kiss quickly gets aggressive and Eddie pushes me to the ground, he gets on top of me and we continue to kiss. I let out a few quiet moans between the kisses and I can feel how Eddie gets more excited by the sounds. "hey y/n did you find Eddie?" I hear the walkie talkie next to us on the ground. I pick it up and press the button to talk, "yeah I did, we are at skull rock". "okay good, we will be there soon" I hear Dustin say and I put the walkie talkie down on the ground again. "do you maybe want your shirt back before they arrive?" I say grinning at Eddie, "yeah that would be nice" he says with a chuckle and I hand him his shirt. He puts it on and I sit up leaning against the rock while looking at the lake, Eddie sits up after me and leans against the rock as well. "I hope this is over soon" I say and sigh, "I just wanted to have a normal spring break this time". Eddie nods and puts his arm around me, "yeah me too, lets go watch a movie together when it is" he says and rubs my arm. I nod and put my head on his shoulder and yawn, "they better get here before I fall asleep" I say and rub my eyes. Eddie laughs at me and puts his head on mine, I take his free hand and look at his tattoos on his arm.
