Clive made his way through a cramped, and cluttered hallway before reaching a wooden door that read VIPS CASTLE "oh yeah, classic Darryl" Clive said as he kicked open the door "daddy's home!"

"I swear to god if that's who I think it is-" a short burley man growled as he crawled from underneath a pile of what seemed to be junk

"Darryl!" Clive hummed as he cradled the small yet angry man in his arms

"Clive." The trapped man muttered.

Clive put him down and began to take in the space around him. It was a dark broom closet with a large wooden desk in the middle, surrounded by mounds miscellaneous items. Clive made his way to the desk after noticing a stack of Playboys, and promptly picked one up and began thumbing through it.

"What the hell are you doing here Clive?" Darryl spoke while going back to his junk pile. He looked to be organizing it, or just inspecting it. It was hard to tell the difference.

Clive was too engrossed in his reading material to acknowledge the man, and instead began mumbling to himself while putting his face closer to the pages.

"Hey! I know you didn't come in here to look at some tits. What is it?" Darryl shouted. This awoke Clive from his trance as he remembered what he was here for.

"ahh right, Darryl I need a favor"

"of course you do, you always need a favor, you always need something"

"ahh listen, I just need a couple of drinks on the house tonight...like old times!" Clive laughed and tossed the magazine back on the desk before making his way closer to Darryl

"Like old times? What, you mean when you 'worked' here and trashed the place every night?" Darryl scoffed "Look Clive, I really-"

"Aye c'mon mate! Y'know I wouldn't ask it of ya if I really didn't need it. Just a couple drinks. Hell I'll even work around here again or something for it." Clive pleaded.

Darryl was unimpressed.

"Clive I would rather hire a monkey than you... but, tell you what kid. I have a band coming around here to do a gig in about an hour; they got a discount since I told them they were gonna have to go perform in the corner by the bathroom cause our stage is being used for storage. They'll pay full price if they get to use the stage though, problem is no one wants to clean it. If you clean it out in the next hour, I'll give you an open tab tonight. Just this once"

There was a pause as Clive looked at Darryl with glossed over eyes, "I'm going to be honest here dar, I didn't catch a word of that. You started rambling too much"

Darryl stared at him as if he was from another planet "God." He started "look, just clean out the damn stage in the next hour and I'll give you an open tab, alright?"

Clive lit up "you got it boss man!" He hugged Darryl once more as a thanks and ran out of the room.

"I better not regret this" Darryl sighed, and went back to his work.

As Clive climbed over the bar table he eyed Dolly, noticing she was busy chatting with the bartender. He whistled at her and when she turned her head to look at him, her face painted with faint disgust and confusion, he winked and smiled. She scoffed.

"Ah, I'll have plenty of time to woo her once I get this stage cleaned" he thought and made his way towards a large dust ridden curtain.

Once he had snuck under the wall of velvet, and entered the small stage area, he realized he had his work cut out for him.
The space was no larger than a walk in closet,
but was piled high with cardboard boxes, old liquor crates, trash bags, and everything in between.

It seemed what Darryl had referred to as 'storage' was actually just used for trash.
Clive started with moving the largest boxes, and began filling them with the smaller strewn about items.

It had been 45 minutes, and all he had left to do was carry the boxes out to the back alley. This would have been easy enough, if he didn't have 30 or so boxes to carry. He was debating leaving and finding another "date" at some other bar, but just then a man shimmied his way underneath the curtain.
