Y/n Pov

So this is the place of origin called Dragnof. A lively city full of people who are all united under one ruler. The royal family of Dragnof. Cana, Bill and I were walking through the town as we wanted to look around this place. Its not every day that you can visit a long lost kingdom. The language does have a few differences then what we are used to. "What do you want to do?" Cana asked and leaned forwards to me.

I shrugged and blew out some air. "I don't really know, I guess I just want to see a bit of the world my parents used to live in." I stated and she hummed softly. She began to be much more cheerful in her sobber state and not so gloomy. "I understand what you mean. I'm curious too about all this." She replied  motioning around and made one quick step forwards. "Why don't we go to a tavern and take a bite to eat, one's right there called the, Overeaten Dragon." She pointed to it with her finger.

The tavern was behind a fence with the entrance being covered in what I could tell were flowers called dragon mint. Those flowers gave of a lightly earthy aroma but if a dragon ate them it could become high. Fitting flowers for the taverns name.

Bill flew in front of us. "I don't know if we should eat here. Do the people in this time use the same currency?" She stated loudly making Cana and me look at each other. She pulled out her purse and I took hold of my jewel pouch. "We never thought of that." Cana stated and placed her hand on her hip.

The two of us stared at the golden coin in our hands. The symbol of the coin was a flower for Fiore. "Its unlikely these coins are legal here so if we would pay with them its highly likely we would be behind bars for it." I stated and Cana clenched her hand tightly. "Damn it." She huffed.

"Wait I remember, Levy said the past civilisations around this time didn't have value based on the coin, they had value based on the weight of the coin itself. The more gold the coin had the heavier it was and had more worth, so if these coins are completely golden then I think there should not be an issue about it." Cana stated and walked towards the tavern.

I was lightly nervous about this. I took a deep breath hoping for the better. We entered the tavern and it was lit by candles on every chandelier hanging from the top, with a large fireplace wtih a roast hanging on its spit behind the counter. "Welcome to our tavern please take a seat and rest, we will take care of you shortly." A woman with white hair spoke and motioned to a table.

We sat down at the window near the entrance opposite to each other. Cana handed me the menu which was on a wooden tablet. Each item on the list had its weight and coins next to it. "What are you going to take Y/n? I'm going with the grilled steak and a gallon of beer." She stated and placed the board down. "I'm going to take the taverns special. The dragon steak and gallon of beer." I stated and then looked over to Bill. "And for you a fish right." I added and she nodded. "Yes, fish is tasty, I do wonder what the sizes are." She replied and I mused a bit. "They do seem heavy." I said and placed down the tablet.

"Diana can you take the order from the couple at the table there." The woman stated and my ears perked up. "Yes mother." A girl with white ashen hair replied curtly. The girls name is Diana my mothers name is also Diana. Could this be her?

I was taken out of my thought by a light tap on my shoulder. "Excuse me sir I'm here to take your order." She stated and I looked at her. She had a colorful dress on which I could only identify as the traditional wear of this time with a ribbon on her middle front She seemed younger then 12 to me. "For me the dragon steak and for Cana the normal one and for Bill a fish. A gallon of beer for the two of us each." I stated and the girl nodded. "Coming right up." She chimed and right when she turned around I could smell her scent.

It was exactly like the dragon I grew up with. My eyes widened and I reached out instinctively for her but stopped just before touching her shoulder. Who knows what would happen if I do. My breathing started to become uneven and I felt my heart pound hard. She was my mother, no doubt. Her and the dragon are the same. I placed my hands on the side of my head and looked down on the table. I tried to fight the tears back which wanted to come so badly. The memories of my dragon came into my mind and that voice, it was the same. I finally got the answer of who my mother really is.
