12.

Aria's pov.
Calum still asleep next to me I crawl out of bed, I walk into the kitchen. And see ash making pancakes.
"Wanna make me some?" I say and sit on the counter. I realized that I haven't spent much time with ash this summer, and now he's 3 weeks from moving.
"Of course, chocolate chip?" He asks and reached into the pantry.
"That would be it" I say.
It goes quiet for a moment.
"Why didn't you tell me you were moving?" I ask.
His face drops.
"It wasn't really for sure until about a week ago, i didn't want you to freak out and drop out of college to follow me" he says. My heart races, he's gonna be pissed.
"I dropped out before I found out" I say nonchalantly.
He spits is coffee up.
"You what!" He says.
"Ash I don't want to be a dentist! It's not my dream, and I refuse to be stuck here alone, you all are just gonna leave me and say, oh she'll be fine. I won't" I say.
He doesn't say anything.
"I'm sorry Ari" he says.
"I'm coming with you" I say.
He serves me a pancake.
"You're not dropping out"
"I already did" I lie.
"No you didn't, you wouldn't have without talking to me first."
"I don't wanna be alone Ashton, you have to understand, I'll get my own apartment and pay my own bills, and work" I say.
"I'll talk to mom and dad, ok?" He says.
"Why does it matter what they say, I'm 18 and I can what ever the hell I want, truthfully I don't even need your permission because I can move where I want." I say.
"I'll help you apply for citizenship tonight, but I'm still calling mom." He says

I could tell he felt bad, but I know my mother will never allow it, so I really can't get my hopes up.
I stroll back into my room and see cal taking up nearly the whole bed.
I kiss his back.
"Cal wake up" I say softly. He groans.
"I have work in an hour, so you aren't gonna see me until 10 if you don't get up" he jumps out of bed.
"Til TEN!" He says, "baby that's a long ass shift" he says.
"Thirteen hours isn't to bad" I say.
"I work 13-15 hr days so I only have to work 3 or 4 days a week. It makes perfect sense" I say
He kisses me slow.
"I have to get ready" I say and jump out of bed.
My tips have been insane recently, I've been trying to save as much as possible, and honestly I'm doing a good job.

Calum's pov.
Ari left for work so I decided to join the boys to alittle write sesh.
Me and Luke have been heavy in the writing game this summer, I think we have a few good options for maybe an ep or something.
We always have the best time when we just sit together get high asf and write, honestly our best work has been in this very living room.
"Me and Luke are gonna go pick up some taco bell, what y'all want?" He says.
"I'm good I just ate" ash says.
"Ya me to actually" I add.
The boys leave and it's just me and ash.
"So you told Ari about the move?" He asks.
"I felt bad hiding it from her" I say.
"Good move mate, I didn't want to tell her" he laughs and slaps my shoulder.
"My mum is gonna have a cow, but I'm gonna take her with us" he says, my face lights up. She can't say no to Ashton.
"It would be amazing to have Ari in LA" I say.
"Ya don't get ahead of yourself hood, Max and Ari will have their OWN place, and she will be back in school" he says.
"I'll take it" I say, he laughs.

Aria's pov.
I walk into the dark house and set my keys on the counter. I see ash on the deck smoking.
"Hey" I say quietly.
"How was work kid?" He asks and passes me what he was smoking. My eyes widen.
"Well I guess not a kid anymore" he laughs.
"Growin up ya know" I say and deeply inhale the joint.
"So you still wanna come to LA?" He asks, I turn and smile at him.
"Obviously" I say.
"Ok, I'll help you get a place in LA, but you have to go to school for something, even beauty school, I don't care just find a career you are passionate about. Also talk to Max, she's your best friend and I know you wouldn't want to leave her behind" he says.
I pull him into and hug, I hold him there for awhile.
"I love you ash"
"Love you to kid"
