"What was that about?" Harry asked me and I shrugged, trying to whip any expression of disappointment off of my face."Nothing, we were just talking." I said and heard Hermione let out a breath.
"Fallon, you shouldn't be talking to Draco Malfoy, he's bad news." Hermione told me and I rolled my eyes.
"He isn't what you guys think he is." I told them and Ron shrugged.
"I don't know, even if we didn't know anything about him, he's still a Slytherin, and they're all awful just by default." He said and I soon as he was finished talking he looked up to the dirty looks that Hermione and Harry were giving him.
"Oh, right, sorry Fallon, I forgot, but hey, you're not like them, you're a potter for heavens sake." He said and gave me a smile.
I don't know why everyone associates our last name with goodness, I mean honestly, it's just a name, and it's just a scar. I don't understand the big deal, and it is a big deal. Every time I enter a room, people whisper, the same with Harry, and honestly it's exhausting. I think that's why I enjoy being around Draco so much, he gets me away from all of that.
"It's alright Ron" I reassured him. "Now, why are you guys back from hogsmeade so early?" I asked and Harry smiled.
"Well, Crabbe and Goyle put a spell on Mcgonagal, that turned her into a frog, and she made everyone come back to the school." He laughed.
"I felt bad for the woman, but it was quite comical." Hermione said and Ron took a deep breath.
"Nobody should ever feel bad for that woman. She's evil." Ron said and I laughed, they all hated her, and Snape, all though I don't blame them for hating Snape.
Yesterday, Snape told me I was a disgrace to Slytherin just because I was a Potter, and then Draco told Snape that he didn't know his head from his ass. Now Draco and I both have detention on Monday.
"We should get going, there is going to be a special announcement before lunch today in the courtyard."
"Lunch isn't for a couple more hours." I said and Hermione raised an eyebrow. "It's 12 o'clock, Fallon." She told me.
Huh, I guess Draco and I were out here longer than I thought.
We started to walk towards the building, and Hermione and I followed a bit behind the boys as they talked about quidditch.
"You like him don't you?" Hermione asked me and I felt my cheeks get warm.
"Well, i've only just met him, but he really has been great to me so far." I told her and she nodded.
"That's surprising honestly, Draco has never been anything but awful to me the entire time i've known him." She said and then looked at me. "Be careful with him, though." She said.
"I know, I know, you all think he's evil." I chuckled. "And I get it, i've seen him be disturbingly rude to other people and usually I would hate people like that, but there's just something about him I guess." I said.
It was true, normally I cannot stand assholes, there are some people who just have nothing but hate in them and most people perceive Draco to be one of them, but from what i've learned over the last couple days, I know that isn't true.
"I understand, but it's not just that. Draco is known to be... ugh how do I say this?" Hermione paused for a few seconds and took a deep breath. "Draco is known to get around, to say the least." She said and I nodded.
"I mean, I see the way he acts around you and he's not even anywhere near that kind to Zabini, who is his best friend, and it kinda just seems like, well, you know." She continued.
