The exams third phase acquired applicants to reach the trick to our base within 72 hours, but Gon in his friends acquired a penalty and were forced to wait for 50 hours.

Meanwhile...

Killua jumps off of his skateboard having it do flips and the air befor catching it as he landed on the ground perfectly. Gon looked at him in complete awe.

"Be careful not to hesitate on the first step or your gonna hurt yourself. Here." Killua explains giving his red and yellow skateboard to Gon.

"I gotcha." Gon assured.

"Hey, kurapika. Once we've finished spending our 50 hours here, we'll have less then ten hours, right?" Leorio asked, a smirk on his face.

"Yes, that's correct." Kurapika answered.

"Great!" Leorio laughs, "that's way more time then we need, so no hard done!"

"Yiur a fool." Tompa said a ugly knowing smile on his face.

"What's that?" Leorio asked his anger at the man raising.

"The third phase of the hunter exam is supposed to take 73 hours. And each new phase weeds out more of the applicants cutting the field roughly to have every time. In other words, it's meant to take 72 hours on average, the fact you didn't know that is proof that you're an idiot." Tompa explained mockingly so, adding the last part just to tick Leorio off further.

Leorio grumbles annoyed.

"Then, our chances of reaching the finished within 10 hours will depend on the remaining trials." Kurapika says, his hand on his jawin thought.

"Yeab. I guess you got a point. " Leo agrees defeated.

"Hm. It's too bad you're so unlucky you can't even win a game of rock-paper-scissors when it counts." He says referring to Leorio's very poor sense in judgment.

"What'd you say?!" Leorio says in anger, balling his hands into fists.

"You deliberately lost a bet just so you could cop a feel. Then you pick a game you didn't stand a chance of winning." Tompa explained truthfully.

"Hey, shut up!" Leorio yelled even though it was true.

"You surrendered before the fight even got started!" Leorio defended though quite uselessly because if Tompa didn't surrender the exams would already be over as the ex-military men would have crushed his windpipe and tortured him until he died since you can't surrender when you can't talk.

"Sure, I threw in the towel. I can admit that. But, I only wasted a couple of seconds. You didn't just lose, you throw away 50 hours we could really use right now. The least you could do is take responsibility. And besides who ever heard of a hunter who sucks at gambling?" Tompa said as he took a sip of his tea.

"Shut up!" Leorio yields getting up from of the couch he was occupying. "You don't even want to become a hunter! The only reason you're here is to ruin our chances!" Leorio said clinching his fist.

Tompa chuckled, and now you have this guilt eating away at you in this phase the, thouth he only thought that in his mind.

Then out of nowhere Killua's skateboard came crashing through with a loud clatter as it hit the floor.

"Hey! What are you doing?!" Leorio yelled confusing lacing his voice as he looked at Gon.

"Oops! Sorry." Gon said rubbing the back of hus head, not looking sorry in the slightest.

"This room isn't big enough for skateboarding, so knock it off!"Leorio yelled clearly upset.

"Awww." Gon said sadly.
