"I'd like to commend all of you on your work in the exams third phase! I'll be your guide, it's nice to meet you. You can call me Cara. It will take approximately 2 hours for this boat to reach your destination, Zevil Island. All 24 candidates who made it this far are granted an open invitation to participate again and the next year's exam no matter what!" the guide said with the wink.
"So even if you fail this time you don't have to worry, we really hope you try again and come back next year! Never Say Die, am I right... everybody..." it was safe to say nobody laughed as the guide shriveled in on herself.
"Safe to say the battle is already begun," Kurapika said leaning on the boat's edge.
"You're right, everybody's already hidden their badges away so nobody can steal them," agreed Leorio as he stood beside the blond teen.
"All right everyone, for the next 2 hours you're all free to do whatever you like! Thank you and I hope you all enjoy the rest of the voyage!" The guide says fake enthusiasm dripping from every word as she waves, walking off.
Gon was setted against the wall of the boat when Killua started walking toward him his skateboard in hand.
"Hey," Killua said as he said next to Gon.
"So.. uhh... who did you get?" Killua asked seemingly nonchalant.
"What did you get?" Gon countered also nonchalant.
"It's a secret." Killua says not looking his way. There was at 3 second pause before they both burst out and laughter.
"Don't worry about it, you're not my target Gon, I promise." Killua promised, a smile on his face.
"That's good, cuz you're not mine either!" Gon said smiling. After a few seconds he looked over at Killua beautifully curious blue eyes.
"You want to show our numbers at the same time?" Killua asked looking at Gon from the corner of his eyes
"Okay!" Gon agreed easily.
"Ready! annnnd!" They showed their card.
Killua's showed 199 and Gon's 44.
Killua gasped, "you got your uncle!" He said in suprise.
"I feel bad for you, he's not going to go easy," Killua informed, looking to Gon.
"Yeah I know, but I'm just happy it wasn't you. I'd have to get three people out then and that's just mean," gon said with a pout.
"Idiot, your a assassin, who cares if it's mean or not?" Killa asked with a roll of his eyes.
"Yeah, but I gotta act innocent some how, right?" Gon asked cheekily.
"Whatever, come find me when you get Hisoka card, 'k?" Killua says, looking at gon expectedly.
"Yeah, also, who's number 99?" Gon asked as he hadn't bother to memorize the badges numbers.
"I'm not sure, I thought maybe you know," Killua said giveing a look to his card.
"Nope," Gon denied, and killua sighs.
"If I had just been smarter about it I would have memorize everybody's numbers, once he explained it, that when I started paying attention, but everyone had taken off there badges already." Killua tells Gon, rubbing his forehead.
"Yeah, I did pretty much the same, sorry," Gon says, a bit disappointed he couldn't help killua out.
"Nah, it's fine, don't worry about it," Killua says, leaning his head on gons shoulder.
"Imma go to sleep, night," Killua says, close his eyes and drifting off.
"Night," Gon smiles.

"Thanks for being patient everyone! We've arrived at Zevil's Island. Okay then, you will be disembarking in the order you completed the third phase, the shortest time to the longest!" The guide explains, her tone filled with fake enthusiasm and excitement.
"Not this again," Leorio scoffs.
"You can only go ahead after 2 minute intervals separate the candidates, all right!"
"I guess that means we'll be here for a while," killua says his tone bored
"Yeahc Gon agrees.
"You'll be staying on the island for an entire week, that means you only have 7 days to collect your six points then return to this location, first applicant get ready to disembark now!" The guide yells, clapping her hands as Hisoka walks up and goes onto the island.
____________
It took exactly two day for Gon find Hisoka, in that time he did nothing but practice using his fishing rod.
The practice on swinging apples he'd found, and birds. It was a good thing too, he was a little rusty. Each was harder then the last, but he'd gotten plenty good of it after a day of practice.
The key when make a move on a living thing was to take the kill shot when the target would take his.
The next morning, he'd notice his hands was bloody and bruised. It made sense considering he'd spent the intire day working nonstop with his fishing rod.
Then he'd notice, butterfly attracted to his blood. They followed his injured hand when he moved it, and the he had in idea.
Hisoka was injured from the third phase. He wrapped his hands up, containing the smell of blood, the he tied two of the pretty pink butterflys up carefully. If he's right, they lean him right to his uncle.
And thay did lead him to blood, just not Hisoka. They lead him to the guy who'd got shot with the arrow.
A younger guy, the one with the arrow had shot him, but missed, but he'd made a back up plan. He'd dip his arrow into a fast acting tranquilizer, that'd leave the guy paralyzed for about a week. Gon sighed, before he'd gotten faw enough away that the pink insects lead him to another bleeding source.
And there he was, sitting against a tree. Now, he'd just have to wait tell Hisoka made his move. He could do that even if it takes hours, he'd get his chance. And when he did, he wouldn't hesitate, hed take the bage, rub it in hisoka face, and hold it against him for all he live. He couldn't wait.
