Blissful Ballad

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞

..A few months roll by and the pair haven't spoken to each other let alone run into one another  on the street until one  day couldn't handle the overwhelming guilt..

Finding his way in town Aziraphale catches a glimpse of red hair through a crowd feeling his heart beat faster he smiles. Finding his way through the crowd he bumps into him catching his arm "Crowley wait" looking at him unamused to see him he lets go as his smile fades. "What do you want, I thought you didn't want to talk to me ever again cause you were scared" he says a bit harsh. Aziraphale sighs "Yes, but that was months ago Crowley I-I realized that I don't care about them up there or hell the people down below all I care about is you" Crowley rolls his eyes "I don't need this" he goes to walk away but Aziraphale shouts "Crowley I love you for heavens sake!" seeing him stop in his tracks he flusters. Turning to him he takes off his glasses to look him directly in the eyes "No you don't.. don't say those things if you don't really mean them" he says starting to tear up. Walking up to him putting a gentle hand on his face wiping a few tears that fall "I do, you know I'm not one to lie" seeing Crowley smile putting his hand on top of his he smiles back. 

After spending a day together the pair find themselves back at Crowley's house enjoying each other's company. Lying his head on his lap Crowley stares up at Aziraphale with glee as he plays with his hair a bit "It feels good to be close to you again Angel" he says seeing him smile. Staring down at him for a moment Aziraphale sighs "Crowley.. I..can we talk about something?" sitting up he nods concerned "Is everything alright?" seeing him nod he sighs of relief. Looking down at his lap he fidgets with his hands "W-When you wanted to make love with me.. d-did you feel like something was going to happen? Like you wanted to be as close as you could to me before everything crumbled.." looking over at him he waits for an answer. Taking his hand Crowley sighs "Honestly I don't really know if that was the reason but what I do know is that I do want to be closer with you.. but if you're not ready for that then I'll be patient-" suddenly he gets kissed catching him off guard a bit.
