Humming.

(Y/n) awoke to the sound of humming and instinctively snuggled closer to the warm body she rested against.

"Good morning, Малыш."

(Y/n) muttered incoherently. "Доброе утро, мама." She sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes with a yawn.

Anna sat up after her, taking a moment to stretch before putting on her mask.

"Breakfast?"

(Y/n) nodded sleepily. "Breakfast."

Anna nodded, standing and patting her Little One's head a few times.

(Y/n) hopped off the bed after Anna began to walk down the stairs. She followed her Mama slowly, deciding to sit at the stairs and slide down instead of walking down.

Anna raised a brow as she heard rhythmic thumps on the stairs.

She set down the frying pan and walked over to the staircase, snorting as she saw (Y/n) slide down the last couple of steps.

"Что ты делаешь?" Anna asked, watching (Y/n) stand with an oblivious smile.

"Taking the fun way down." She replied. (Y/n) walked over to the fireplace and took a seat on the couch, picking up a few toys that had been left there.

Anna chuckled and shook her head, going back to making breakfast for her.

When Anna was close to finishing, she called for (Y/n) to get dressed.

"Okay!"

Anna set the table and placed the food onto the plates as (Y/n) returned adorning her overalls and stained shirt.

She hadn't worn the outfit in a while and felt that it was a nice change of pace from the flowy dresses she typically wore.

The two ate, occasionally chatting about what they'd be doing today.

Anna hadn't had any trials recently and the two took advantage of that immediately by doing multiple activities together. It ranged from playing catch, hunting together, teaching one another, etc.

"How about we practice throwing hatchets?" (Y/n) suggested as she finished eating.

"Okay." Anna nodded with a smile and began to clean the table, (Y/n) grinning and immediately making her way up the stairs.

"I'm going to get dressed!" She shouted once she reached the bedroom. Anna shouted back in her native tongue and decided she'd get dressed once she finished cleaning the dishes.

(Y/n) hopped down the stairs in her 'snow outfit' holding the familiar flower embroidered fabric and cat mask.

Anna took a moment to wrap the fabric over her Little One's head before heading upstairs to get dressed.

The (h/c)-haired girl put the cat mask on and bounced around the living room.

She was antsy to get out and start throwing hatchets since it had been a while since she'd used them.

She could've just practiced on her own time when Anna was doing a trial, but she felt that it was best to have adult supervision when handling such a sharp object.

"Ready to go, Малыш?" Anna asked, now dressed and ready to head out.

"Yep! Come on!" (Y/n) replied quickly. She ran to the sharpening desk beside the entrance and grabbed one of the hatchets.

Anna was behind her immediately, taking the hatchet out of her hand with a small breath of relief.

"Еще нет, Малышка."
