Possible ba talaga na magkaroon ng relasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang magkadugo?

This question kept nagging at me as I sat next to my bestfriend at this moment.

Damn, I can hardly imagine liking my own sister and I graved to all the deities that Charlie and I will never. Isa pa alam ko din na, it was all but nothing just a plain lust.

"Jack." mahinang sambit ko, agad din naman syang tumingin sakin.

"Is it possible to have a thing on her? I mean yes we're sister, pero possible ba na mangyari yung ganon?" Hindi ko alam kung bakit nagtatanong ako ng ganito sa kanya. Ano bang malay nya sa ganitong bagay?

She just raised a brow at me, letting out a long sigh. "Well for me lang ha, yes since that's really happening in real life."

She was right though.

I'm just baffled to the core kung paanong hindi sila na-kokonsensya sa ganong sitwasyon?

"Wait—" wika nya. "Kapatid mo sya sa tatay, right?" kunot noong tanong nya.

“Yeah.” sagot ko.

“She's 20 and you're 19, right?”

“Yeah, why?” curious na tanong ko naman din.

“Hm... It doesn't make sense for me, Sophie. I mean, paanong nagkaroon agad si tito ng new family which is kayo nga ni tita Anggie when Charlie was only at the age of 1?” usisa nya.

“Huh? What're you trying to say?”

“I'm sorry, Sophie. Naguguluhan talaga ako.”

I became silent for a moment nang medyo napaisip ako sa sinabi nya.

"Well actually, Dad told me that Charlie was his first daughter. But unfortunately, her mother died when Charlie was young and then, she was adopted by her mom's sister, her auntie." pagpapaliwag ko naman base sa mga nakalap kong konting impormasyon mula kay Dad.

"Oh, really? That's so sad to hear naman. Pero teka lang, how did that happen? Does that mean tito left Charlie and his former wife who was her mother? Is that what happened?” 

"I'm not really sure about it. So far dad, hasn't told me anything else about Charlie and I won't force to ask him about Charlie's life background. I'm just waiting for Dad to take the initiative."

Her mouth parted in a soft breath bago sya muling magsalita.

"I see. Well I guess, much better kung didistansya ka muna sa kanya. Try to ignore her, for your own goods.”

"Ignore her? How could I do that when we're just living in the same roof?"

"Listen, that doesn't matter dahil kung talagang hindi ka intresado sa kanya you will make your way para maiwasan sya, find some way to avoid her. Atsaka, yung ginawa mong pag ganti sa halik nya sigurado akong may laman na 'yon para sa kanya. Well, who would not be assume, right? That mistake you've done is enough, Sophie. Kasi kung papakitaan mo pa rin sya ng motibo don't expect na aayos kayo where in fact mas lalo lang magiging worst. In general, don't give her false hope, motives and just do what do you think is right. Kung hindi man nya magawa much better kung ikaw nalang ang iiwas if you want to stop her mania.” she stated.

Napa-buntong hininga na lang ako sa mga sinabi nyang 'yon. Jackie was impulsively by nature and not inclined to procrastinate. Still, I knew it was a good advice and I needed a diversion.

She's right. But I think that's too hard for me to do. Ignoring her isn't easy especially since we were just living in the same house, magkasama at nagkikita kami araw araw.
