"Agrh-
ahhhhhhhhhhh"

she screamed closing her eyes, holding onto his legs as Levi continued to kick her on the stomach mercilessly. Her screams overpowered the rain and thunder that night. It echoed throughout the house. She struggled to get her voice out and all that came was air. Her throat was dry, completely dry.

"I d-on't care wh-at h-happens t-to m-me but th-e the c-child did nothing wrong, s-spare h-her"

were the only words she repeated over and over again. Her eyes were about to close just then another sharp slap right through her cheek. She could no longer say anything, she lost all her energy. She wasn't able to fight back as she felt entirely numb. Its been a few hours already. The floor was completely soaked in her blood. Her sight was blurry but she could see the pure anger and hate on those eyes which once was filled with unconditional love and warmth.

Maybe this was their end. Those memories of 9 years together was enough for her, and now Hannah was her entire life. Although she knew that marriage between them was impossible, she didn't want to kill Han, she couldn't. Han was her first chance and hope to live. In a world full of strangers Han was someone she could call her own. She didn't care about anything else. The sweet memories of last 9 years with Han flashed in front of her eyes. 10 months of holding Han inside her body, Han's first cry, Han's first touch, her pure little eyes, Han's first word, Han's loving smile and warm hug, Han's first step. She closed her eyes as her last tear escaped, with no hope of opening again.

His eyes didn't show a sign of pity or sympathy. Levi showed no sign of stopping. He pulled her unconscious body from the floor and thrashed her against the door like it was all nothing. Blood from her head splashed all over his face as her body slowly dragged itself down the door. Her face was full of scars and nail scratches, her dress was torn apart and it was clearly evident that he had physically abused her, her nails were ripped off from her fingers and blood flowing from all parts of her body. But there was someone else who witnessed all this sheer cruelty, silently.

Little Han felt her entire body shatter when she felt her mom's body against the door. Shivers ran down her spine. She let out silent sobs, forcefully shutting her mouth with her own hands. She felt her heart tremble hearing her mom's faded voice and her heartbeat stopped when she could no longer hear anything except beating and kicking sounds. And after a while that too stopped. There was complete silence in the room. Full of fear she peeked through the tiny gap under the door and the sight she saw would leave her traumatized for the rest of her life.

The man was digging the ground outside the house and it seemed like a grave. The rain was pouring heavily. He buried her mom right in front of her eyes. She hated herself for not doing anything. She felt numb and paralyzed. He looked around to make sure noone saw him. His last look, eyes wide open, sweating and a terrified, frightened expression over his face.

Hannah quickly made her way out of the room and rushed to her mom. Tears kept on flowing. Her mother's blood was all over her body and she could feel the warmth. She felt responsible for all this misery. She thought she was the reason. She hated herself. Looking at the hand full of her mom's blood, she felt that she killed her mom. She shouted, screamed and cried and cried until she had no more tears left to cry. And the only thing now filled her eyes was anger, revenge and hatred. The child is no longer innocent and she'd never be. Her childhood was stolen from her and there's no way to return.
