The evil daughter of my sweet uncle (hehe jkjk)
After mom's demise due to cancer, I thought I lost everything but they stood there for me. Since then I started living with them. Uncle treated me just like his own and Violet filled the empty space of a sister a.k.a friend in my life. I like Violet but I loveeee our love hate relationship more. Today, just like any other day we had a little fight in the morning and that's the reason I called evil. Anyone who keeps alarm and destroys a person's peaceful dream instead of getting up at the first ring is nothing less than evil. At last I had to wake this girl up so she doesn't miss the class. But where's she now?

Grace seemed chilled at first but as the time passed she too started worrying. It was almost gonna be midnight, half past 11.
By now she had called up all of Violet's friends she knew but all she could hear was

"She was absent today"

She didn't go to school? Then where?
Time passed, tension grew, millions of question but no answer, no Violet.
She wasn't gonna suddenly leave the house on an absolute random day. It was a dead end.

It's been a whole day and no sign of Violet.
A call from the principal's office at 10 am the next day needed Violet's family to come to the school. There were later informed that Violet was no more. She was found dead in the sports room. Police and authorities from the forensic department were called and it was confirmed that Violet committed suicide. The cause of death was overdose of the drug, cocaine. Benjamin uncle was completely frozen. He couldn't speak, his throat was completely dry. It was all so sudden and suicide? Why?

We're sorry for your loss but we've done all we could. The police have confirmed yesterday night and we took our time since we didn't want to disturb the family with any fake news.

         (Grace burst out with tears running all over her cheeks)

The truth might be bitter and hard to accept but it's right in front of our eyes.
(The principal spoke pointing to the files on the desk which read "forensic observations" on top)

No further investigations were done since the case wasn't filed. A private agreement was signed almost immediately between Benjamin and the school authorities. The school had an ISO certification and further investigations meant a threat. Principal managed to manipulate and direct Benjamin onto signing the agreement by saying that various tests, formalities and surgeries on Violet's body will be performed if they were to opt for further investigation. Benjamin's dilemma and shock was taken advantage of.

No matter what they said, Grace was on denial. She knew Violet. A responsible, studious and disciplined student was all Violet was. Not a person who'd live a secret double life, at least that's what Grace felt. Something was definitely wrong. If there was someone who could provide answers to all these questions, it was Violet and she's no more.

A sense of guilt filled Grace when she opened their empty room, full of her and Violet's stuff but no life.

-Grace pov-
She didn't even give me a chance to apologize. If only I wouldn't have woken her up this morning, if only I didn't fight her all the time, she would've been here with me and wouldn't have committed... suicide. No, no no impossible! There's no way Violet would've committed suicide.

(She remembered all their lovely moments together and remembered how pure and innocent Violet was)

Smuggling and cocaine isn't her cup of tea. There's definitely something hidden and it's my turn to change my apology into justice. I'll find her the justice she deserves, the truth.

Grace went through all of Violet's things. Her paintings, notes, quotes and poems. She chuckled remembering how she used to hide the diary from Grace and never let her touch it. Tears fell from her puffy eyes and before she realized, she was turning the pages of the diary.
