A.N Notes: There isn't much to say at the moment. But what follows after this is an Original Chapter—or possibly an Original Case.

If it comes to the latter, I'll try to make it as enjoyable as possible...

Also, I've published a book that involves the OCs of my Criminal Case Story. It's called 'Criminal Case Profiles'!

That is all, and enjoy the chapter!

Police Station (Juan's POV)

It was another day at work, and I was at my desk sorting out files that revolve around my previous cases. Then came Jones as he walked towards me, "Hey, Juan! Chief's calling us at his office! Said it's important!"

I stood up from my desk and joined up with Jones as we walked together to the Chief's office.

Once we entered, we didn't bother trying to salute as the Chief insisted that it was no longer necessary to this point.

"You called for us, Chief?" I inquired,

"Yes, Detective," Samuel responded, "For I have a question: Does the name Gordon Michelli ring a bell?"

"Isn't he the director of the Red Company construction corporation? I HATE those guys, they're only interested in profit!" Jones remarked,

"I've once heard that they took down an area that was preserved for less than a decade before Red Company bought it off and tore it down," I added, "A lot of people got angry because of that,"

"That will be enough of your personal considerations, Officers," Samuel stated, "For Michelli was found dead on the Gooseberry Lane construction site! Go there, and figure this out!"

"Yes sir," Jones and I responded, and made our way to the cruiser,

Gooseberry Lane Construction Site...

As soon as we arrived at the construction site, I stepped out and frowned at seeing such destruction.

But I put those thoughts aside and we made our way inside the site.

That's when we found our victim. Who was killed in the same way Jesus Christ was executed. The palm of his hands was nailed to the wooden board, his body had been flogged, and the only clothing he had on him was a white cloth covering his lower region.

"Well, that's something you don't see every day!" Jones remarked, "I hope this doesn't mean crucifixion is coming back in style,"

"Let's worry about that later," I said, and slipped in some gloves, "For now, we should get those nails out of his hands and call in a coroner to pick him up,"

With a pair of piers that we found in a toolbox, Jones and I proceeded to remove the nails from the victim's hands and slowly put him down on the floor.

While Jones calls in a coroner to take the body, I searched around and found a torn-up card a few meters away from where the victim was found.

"I called in the coroner," Jones said, "Now tell me what you have found there, Partner,"

"A Torn Card," I said, and stored every piece inside a plastic bag, "And it doesn't look like it belongs to our killer,"

"It certainly does," Jones said, "Which reminds me, Have you thought about catching a religious killer before?"

"No, why?" I inquired,

"Well judging from how our victim here was killed. I guess you could say it's official," Jones said, "But let me know if I'm wrong,"

"Alright," I agreed,

With that, Jones and I went back to the station.
