But before you continue, you may have some questions about the last chapter.

I'll let you guys guess that one out. Because I ain't giving an answer.

That is all and enjoy the original chapter!

Local Park (Juan's POV)

It was my day off, and I waited at a park bench. With my sisters out for school, I wouldn't worry about a thing about them.

Whenever I glanced around the park, I couldn't help but stare at a few kids running around happy with their parents happily watching them.

It was rather peaceful to see, but the longer I watched them, I felt a bit sorrowful as it reminded me of the past when my parents were still alive...

Hence, I sighed to myself and waited for someone else to come along.

That's when I heard a familiar call in the distance, "Hey, Detective!"

I turned to the source, and two particular people arrived as I expected.

The first was a brown-haired man waving at me. His outfit consists of a brown long-sleeved jacket, a white short-sleeve shirt underneath, light jeans with a large scrape on the left knee, and white sneakers.

The second was a blond-haired woman with a long ponytail. Her outfit consists of a camo green tanktop shirt, light brown cargo pants, and brown sneakers.

I stood up from my desk, and approached the two, "First was Yumi, now it's you Leon?"

"Blame Sonia for that," Leon jokingly said,

"Hey!" Sonia retorted,

I just chuckled, and fist-bumped Leon, "It's good to see you guys again,"

Sonia Blade, and Leon Kennedy. Two of my close friends were in high school. Even though I was two years behind them, I maintained a friendly relationship with them. (Yes! I'm referencing the Female General of MK and the Rookie Cop of RE)

"Speaking of Yumi, where is she?" I inquired,

"She's on her way," Sonia said, "You know how she is,"

On cue, the small black-haired woman arrives. Her clothes include black glasses, a light brown short-sleeved shirt with a ginger cat face patch on a belly pocket, long jeans, and white sneakers.

"Yumi," I greeted,

"D-Detective," Yumi timidly greeted back,

"How many times do I have to tell you to call me Juan?" I told,

"I-I'm sorry! I just couldn't help myself!" Yumi apologized, "With you being a Detective and all..."

"Still the same little bird, aren't you," Sonia remarked and patted her head a couple of times, much to Yumi's embarrassment,

Yumi Kimura, Another one of my close friends. But her story goes back to Sonia as they share quite a dynamic backstory of friendship. When it came to brawn, Sonia was the toughest. But Yumi was the polar opposite due to her bright mind.

I recall that she won first place on a few yet complicated academic completions despite her timid personality.

"Now that everyone's here, let's catch up on lost time already," Leon suggested,
