Forever?

Percy's POV

Well... After loosing Annabeth in my dream, I can't lose her. Ever again. Not in real life. I can't handle that. That dream broke me.

"Annabeth. I'm gonna go to the mall. You can come with me cause I uh, I'm getting your birthday present. So I uh- can you hangout with Piper or something?"

"Sure." She says kissing me gently.

"But my birthday isn't for 3 months... Why would you have to get it today?"

"Stop it with your child of Athena smart stuff. I'll be back in a few hours. I'll text you to let you know to come back home okay? I love you." I kiss her lips and hug her, then I'm gone.

Last night, I told my mom to take Annabeth to get a fancy dress or something and get her all done and stuff for the big moment. Now, you've probably already figured out what I'm planning but i am trying to make it special. So... Here I go.

My mom texts me as I start to drive out of the parking lot of our parking lot,

TEXT FROM-MAMA:p

"Perc. I'm taking her to get dressed up now. I told her I was driving her to Pipers. I texted Piper to meet us at the store so she can help since she is a daughter of Aphrodite."

TEXT TO- MAMA:p

"Okay thanks. Just make sure you don't go close to the ring place thing. I don't want her to see me."

I have a tux in the back seat of my car. I'm not gonna tell you exactly what I'm gonna do for the proposal. I can't tell you everything... Yet.

I stop to pick up Jason.

"Hey dude. You nervous yet?" He asks.

"Extremely." I reply.

He laughs.

"Wow bro that's a big word. Good job! Annabeth is making you smarter!"

I roll my eyes and continue to drive.

As we arrive at the mall, I close and lock the door and start to feel nervous. This is real, this is... Forever.

"You okay man?" Jason asks patting my back.

"Yeah yeah I'm great."

We walk in and instantly go to the jeweler.

"Hello how may I help you today?"

Jason cuts me off and grabs me by the shoulder.

"This man is proposing to the most amazing girl in the world."

The worker smiles and I eye up Jason.

He throws up his hands in surrender.

I smirk and look back at the worker.

He smiles back and starts to walk over to the engagement rings.

"What does this girl like?" He asks, in a thick Italian accent.

"Ummm.. She likes books and smart stuff and... She loves the color red. I don't really know how to explain her."

He smiles and shows me a wide selection of shiny rings.

"What about that one!?" Jason asks.

"No. That's probably to shiny for her. How about... That one? No, not special enough.. How about-"

I get cut off by an amazing shimmering ring to my right.

"It's just her.." I whisper.

"Let us look at it closer." The worker says.

He takes it out and it shines in the light.

"This has 5 real diamonds and a few sprinkled in the band."

"That's it." I beam.

"Fantastic. What size ring does she wear?"

"6" I say.

He goes to the back and gets a ring that's perfect for her.

"Any specific color case?"

"Red."

He brings out a red case and places the ring inside.

"Have a good day sir. And good luck."

"Thankyou sir. You too."

We walk out and I clutch the the ring in my hand.

"So dude! You excited!?" Jason says.

"Yeah." I say with shaking hands.

I text my mom to take Annabeth to the special place. She knows where I'm talking about.

I get in the car and take the tux out of the backseat and take it into the mall bathroom and change. I get back in the car to find Jason sitting there with a huge smirk on his face.

"You really boi!?" He asks.

I nod my head nervously and start to drive to the place.

'The place' is a ballroom with a few chairs and tables outside. I've made sure that were the only ones there tonight that are eating at least. There will be people dancing but still. I think it will be romantic.

I don't know... Am I trying to hard?

Jason reads my expression and buds in.

"Come on dude. you know she's gonna say yes. she loves you so much dude."

I sigh and turn into the parking lot of 'the place'.

Jason smiles at me and sits in the car. Then I see moms car pull up with Annabeth in the front seat looking stunning.

Piper jumps out the back and goes to Jason. He gets out of the car and hugs him.

Annabeth slips her arm into mine and we walk to the table and order food.

"Sooo..." She says.

I can't wipe the stupid smile off my face.

"I love you." I say threw my loves truck daze.

She smiles and says it right back.

When we're done eating, we go to the dance floor I catch a glimpse of Jason and he winks at me.

I go over to the DJ and request marry you by Bruno mars. He smiles at me and plays it. I nod and go back out to Annabeth. The song starts to play and we dance.

"Why song did you request?" She asks.

I smile and say,

"You'll see."

At the end of the song I break away from her while we're in the middle of the room. Piper gets her attention and she turns around. Only to turn back around to see me on one knee with a ring box in my hand. I smile up at her and her eyes fill with tears.

I open the box and ask the question that's been on my mind for years now.

"Annabeth Chase. Will you marry me?"

CLIF HANGER!!! MWUAHAHAHGAHA!!! I've been asked to update and my one friend I'm pretty sure has wanted me to update. (I'm looking at you Molly) but yeah. Have fun sleeping tonight not knowing what her answer is. Bai
