Mall

Annabeth POV

The next week, we have off because of Thanksgiving.

A few days before thanksgiving though, Percy and I decide to go shopping.

We arrive at the mall and Percy's eyes light up. I follow his glance to the candy store.

I sigh. But then I laugh.

"You really are a 5 year old aren't you?" I ask him.

He laughs and takes my hand.

"Hey. I can be a kid sometimes."

I kiss him on the cheek and we near the candy store.

"More like 99% of the time."

He smirks and we walk into the candy store.

After about an hour in there... Percy carries out 3 bags of random blue candies. It doesn't matter what kind they were, they just had to be blue.

We sit down on a bench and start to each some.

"So. What are we going to get other then this heavenly blue candy?" He asks.

"Not sure yet." I say as I take another piece of candy.

He smirks.

"I have an idea."

We put the candy in our pockets and start walking. I have no idea why store he's taking me too and now I'm kinda scared...

I was expecting to see build a bear or something because let's face it... Percy would probably make one.

But I'm surprised when we reach my favorite clothing store. Aeropostale.

"Percy. Why are we here?" I ask.

He smiles and squeezes my hand.

"I never got you anything for our anniversary in September, so I wanted to make it up to you."

I'm speechless..

"Percy. You took me to dinner and we had an amazing time. I wouldn't want anything else."

He smiles.

"Don't lie wise girl. You want some clothes... Maybe some shoes?"

He leads me into the store and to the back where I realize is all my favorite things. A mix of ripped jeans, Christmas sweaters, and leather jackets. And of course, combat boots.

I pick out a red Christmas sweater, dark denim jeans, and black combat boots.

"I'll be right back." I tell him.

I go to the guys section and find a Christmas sweater close to mine. Then a pair of dark denim jeans.

We check out my stuff, then I make him go away as I purchase his.

I walk out and hold up the bag. He smiles.

"Should I be scared?" He asks.

"Very." I whisper with a smirk.

I show him what I bought him and he laughs.

"I love it wise girl."

He kisses me and we walk around the mall buying a few Christmas presents for Paul and Sally.

After a few hours of shopping, we decide to go home.

"So that was fun." Percy says as we get into the car.

"Yeah." I say with a deep breath because I'm so tired from walking around the mall all day.

Percy starts the car and I stop him before we starts to drive. I pull the Christmas sweater out of the bag and wave it at him. He smiles and pulls off his shirt.

He puts on the sweater and so do I.

We start driving now in our almost matching sweaters like a stupid couple thing.

I'm hanging out with Piper wayyyyy to much.

He grabs my hand and we sit there in silence. It's not awkward though. It's good to have silence sometimes when your with someone you love.

We arrive at home and go straight to our room so they don't see what we bought them. We hide the bags in the closet an causally walk out.

"Hi." Percy says to Paul as he gives him a fist bump.

Then Paul turns to me and I think why not?

I give him a fist bump.

"Where's Sally?" I ask.

He nods his head to the bedroom.

"She wasn't feeling good so she's taking a nap. You guys want anything to eat?"

Percy and I smirk at eachother.

"What am I missing?" He asks.

Percy and I start laughing.

"What what is it!? Is my hair messed up or something what?"

Percy pulls out a bag of blue candy and we both start eating it.

Paul chuckles.

"Should've seen that one coming. Why don't you go wake Sally for dinner?"

Percy and I turn to their bedroom door.

We open it and what we find is.. Not right.

"Mom!" Percy yells.

He runs to her side through all the vomit on the ground. Her ghost white face tells us something wrong.

"Paul!" I call running out of the room so I don't puke myself.

"What? What is it?" He asks, his face filling with worry.

"Sally.. Sh-"

He runs to their room.

"Percy go start the car! Were going to the hospital!"
