Episode Five

● No One's POV ●

"Get back here!" Five Diamond yelled, chasing after the card hero.

Sprinting from rooftop to rooftop; the inexperienced spade-themed superhero panted heavily, constantly dodging any incoming attacks from the card villain. The masked superhero then leaped off the rooftop, descending the building.

Detaching his yo-yo, Wonder Spade immediately launched its body, which wrapped itself around the nearby flagpole. Wonder Spade successfully redirected his body as he swung through the streets.

Five Diamond gasped, slamming her clenched fist against the billboard. She took off her necklace and dropped it on the building's rooftop.

Seconds later, the necklace transformed into a motorcycle. Five Diamond hopped onto the seat and leaped off the rooftop and onto the streets with the aid of the motorcycle's hang glider.

'Of course...' Wonder Spade sighed in annoyance at the sight of the card villain, Five Diamond, as she chased after him.

The ravenette began to make evasive maneuvers in mid-air as Five Diamonds launched an attack of lethal fire bolts.

She gritted her teeth and watched each of her attacks miss the gymnast.

Five Diamond clenched her gloved fist, charging her last attack. She then fired a powerful fire bolt at an incredible speed. Wonder Spade's eyes widened.

He retracted his yo-yo and landed in the dirt over at the construction site, barely dodging the initial attack.

Wonder Spade groaned as he sat up and clenched his shoulder.

Suddenly, Five Diamond rode into the construction site at full speed. "I've got you now!" She exclaimed. Before Five Diamond had a chance to grab the ravenette, her motorcycle's front wheel came to a halt, causing her to be thrown off and onto a large sticky web.

"Correction," A familiar voice said. "We have you."

The figure was none other than Black Diamond. Wonder Spade's talented and fearsome partner in crime.

Five Diamond gritted her teeth. She spotted both Wonder Spade and Black Diamond staring at her from below. In a last-ditch effort, she tried to break free from the web.

"Save your energy, the cables on the web are indestructible." Black Diamond coldly stated. Wonder Spade spun his yo-yo in a circular motion before launching its body which wrapped itself around Five Diamond's pouch.

Black Diamond watched as his partner pulled off the pouch, which fell into the ravenette's hands.

"Grr- No!" Five Diamond yelled.

After confirming the playing card was inside the pouch, Black Diamond activated his unique ability, "Diamond Destruction!"

Wonder Spade watched as both the playing card and pouch dissolved into ash within seconds. After the playing card was destroyed; Five Diamond fell unconscious. Wonder Spade sighed as he and Black Diamond took down the woman.

"Are you alright, Wonder Spade?"

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine."

Both Wonder Spade and Black Diamond's hands under a remaining piece of the spade charm, they launched it into the air reciting the phrase, "Neon Cards!"
