The even came around as Sev and El where sat in front of the tv watching a movie as they waited for hopper to get back home to them, just as he promised.
El was into the movie but Sev couldn't wrap his head around it so he sat there reading a book, he only had a few pages left untill he was finished it.
He was still reading his book until El got up off the couch out of no where "Where are you going?" He asked as he watched her walk towards the window.
With no answer she lifted the blind up and stared at a squirrel that was running around on the bird feeder.
Sev stood up placing his book down on the page he was reading and walked over to her as she watched the animal.
"El, are you ok?" Sev placed his hand on her shoulder cautiously, when he did she awoke from her day dream pulling the blind back down and started to walk back to the couch.
Sev stood there confused, "What just happened are you ok?"
Sitting back down el turned her head towards him, "Fine just remembered" "Remembered what?" El gave him no reply turning her head back to the tv.
Tutting Sev grabbed his book and walked toward his room to finish the rest of his book in peace.
A while later Sev was well done his book so now he was just sitting on his bed practicing his power, he wanted to know what he could do without be told by Brenner.
Lifting his palm up facing toward him he started to focus his strength on it, as he did it started to glow, a dim glow but still a glow. Focusing more onto it it spread from just his palm to on his whole hand, when it did he felt the blood from his nose trickle down his shirt shrugging it off he started to push more as the glow stared to heat up more and move further up his arm till it stared to singe the sleeves on his t-shirt. He was about to do the same with his other hand until he dropped all his focus as he heard screaming coming from the sitting room.
Shooting up off his bed he wiped the blood off his nose and chin and stared to pat his sleeves which had started to smoke before running into the sitting room.
It was hopper banging on the front door and wanting to be let in, as Sev walked towards the door to unlock it. Opening it up he stared hopper in the eyes, "You're late, you promised El that you wouldn't be" he said harshly .
"I know, I know I got held up at work, I'm sorry," hopper apologised as he walked in though the door closing it after him holding a small jack o lantern full of sweets.
Rolling his eyes in anger Sev stood there still glaring at him, "It's not me you should be apologising to," He told hopper right before he leaned over and grabbed a hand full of the sweets in the bucket and walking back to his room slamming the door behind him.
