Taehyun woke up in his bed the next morning. Soobin and Kai must've put him to bed as he fell asleep on them.
All the memories of the ball flooded back into his mind. He smiled at the dance he had with the Prince. It felt like Heaven.
A loud bang interrupted his thoughts and he looked up. Changbin had slammed open his door.
"Hey come make us breakfast you brat." Changbin said and closed the door.
Taehyun said and got out of bed, getting ready for the long day of slavery ahead.
He checked for any dents in the wall from where Changbin slammed open his door banging the wall in the process, he sighed in relief when there wasn't any. Even if it wasn't his fault for a dent, he'd still be the one getting into trouble.
He got out of his room and into the kitchen. While he was preparing the food, he heard his two step siblings talking about the ball.
"Oh that damn Prince! He didn't even pay attention to me at all the entire night! He was too busy dancing with whoever that guy was. Like what the hell!" Yuna exclaimed. She was angry that the Prince didn't acknowledge her.
Taehyun smirked at the anger his step sister has. He had so much pride knowing he was the one that made his sister feel this way. The Prince chose him instead.
As he heard the bickering he let his mind wander. He thought about how the Prince was doing.

"Damn it!" The frustrated yells of Beomgyu could be heard throughout the castle.
The ball had ended early because after Taehyun left, Beomgyu felt confused and upset.
After everyone had left, Beomgyu kept pacing the halls frantically, thinking about what he meant by he wouldn't like him if he knew what he really was.
Beomgyu was finally managed to be put to bed. Now it's the next morning and as you can see, he's frustrated.
His best friend, Shin Ryujin, came running in after she heard the yell.
"Beomgyu, it's going to be ok." She said and hugged him from behind, trying her best to calm him down.
"No it's not going to be ok! It's not going to be ok until I figure out what the hell is going on!" Beomgyu shouted.
"Listen, I know you're upset but yelling isn't going to fix the problem. You need to calm down now." Ryujin had no problem at all with being assertive towards him, even if her rank is lower than his.
Beomgyu finally took in a deep breath and felt calm. He needed Ryujin, without her he wouldn't be able to control his emotions.
Once he was calm he finally felt the tears fall down onto his face and he covered his face in his hands. Ryujin was quick to give him a hug.
"I just don't understand Ryu, what could he have meant? And why did he look so panicked when I asked him where he was from? Why did he have to leave so quickly?" Beomgyu's mind was full of thoughts that he couldn't understand.
"I don't know Gyu. I honestly have no clue. But you know what? Maybe we can try and figure it out. Let's backtrack all the events that came up." Ryujin said.
"Ok. Well he came late. All the other guests came in on time. But that doesn't sound too suspicious." Beomgyu had said.
"Right. Well he came in with one of the fairies. Doesn't that seem a bit weird? How out of all the people, he was the only one that came with a fairy? The rest of the fairies that were here came with nobody except other fairies." Ryujin said.
