Taegyu one-shots

Taerella: Taegyu pt 4

Taehyun didn't think his eyes could get any bigger, but the moment he stepped foot into that ballroom, his eyes widened a lot more.

This place was absolutely huge. There had to be at least 200 people inside this ballroom, but it looked like it could fit a whole lot more. (maximum capacity is 350)

As he looked around the room he spotted a long table that held a variety of sweets that looked super fancy. He could feel his mouth water and he headed over to the table.

He wasn't allowed to have sugary stuff where he lived, only watching his step siblings enjoy them while he was cleaning.

He picked up a cookie with lots of vanilla frosting on it and took a bite. He loved how sweet it was and finished it in about 3 bites.

"I don't want to look like a servant who doesn't get these so I better stay away. But man that was delicious." Taehyun had said to himself and walked away from the sweets.

He searched for Huening Kai and found him talking to one of the cute guys here. He immediately clung to him when he got to him.

"Oh Taehyun! I'd like you to meet someone. This is Seungmin, he's also a fairy, and my boyfriend." Huening Kai introduced Seungmin to Taehyun.

"Nice to meet you." Taehyun said shyly.

Before they could talk more, Taehyun felt a slight tap on his shoulder. He turned around and he couldn't believe his eyes.

"Umm excuse me?" Beomgyu had said quietly. "I'm sorry but I couldn't have helped noticing you, do you want to dance with me?"

Taehyun couldn't believe what he was hearing. The prince just came up to HIM asking if he wanted to dance.

Kai had cleared his throat, getting Taehyun out of his state of shock.

"Yes! I-I mean, yes I would love to dance with you." Taehyun smiled sheepishly, he got a little too excited.

Beomgyu smiled gently at him and took his hand in his, smiling at how his hands were slightly smaller then his and they fit perfectly.

They danced with each other, well tried to as Taehyun kept accidentally stepping on his foot.

"Ahh! I'm so sorry! I can't dance, you must be regretting asking me to dance now." Taehyun said as he put himself down.

"Nonsense. I don't regret asking you to dance at all. Here let me guide you." Beomgyu said and wrapped his arm tighter against Taehyun's waist and getting a tighter grip on his hand.

All this was causing Taehyun to blush. He couldn't believe this was happening.

Beomgyu looked up and saw the blushing boy and couldn't help thinking how cute he is.

'I think I found the one.' Beomgyu thought.

The night went on and Beomgyu and Taehyun have not separated.

Taehyun has mastered dancing pretty quickly to Beomgyu's surprise.

"So uh, where are you from?" Beomgyu tried to make actual conversation as the night has just been filled with deep eye contact and giggles from the two.

Taehyun immediately started to panic and Beomgyu got worried as he saw the panic in his eyes.

"Hey are you ok?" Beomgyu asked worriedly.

"Y-yeah. Yeah I'm fine. It's just.." Taehyun hesitated.

"It's ok. That question was very upfront. You don't have to answer." Beomgyu smiled and Taehyun felt his heart warm up.

He then unexpectedly laid his head on Beomgyu's strong shoulder, making Beomgyu's eyes widen.

"You're so cute." Beomgyu said close to his ear making Taehyun blush.

"Oh by the way. We've been dancing with each other for hours. What's your name?" Beomgyu asked and Taehyun looked up.

"Taehyun. My name is Taehyun." Taehyun replied. But then a realization hit him.

"Umm do you happen to know what time it is?" Taehyun said, completely oblivious to the time.

"It's almost 5:50. Why?" Beomgyu asked and the look of panic returned to Taehyun's face making him confused and worried.

"I have to go right now. Thank you for everything!" Taehyun was in a rush, but before he left he gave Beomgyu a kiss on the cheek and then ran.

"Huening Kai! We need to go!" Taehyun grabbed Huening's hand and they rushed out the door.

Taehyun had exactly 5 minutes before the spell will wear off. Ah he should've payed attention to the time!

When he was out the door he felt a hand hold his. He looked back and saw a worried Beomgyu.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Beomgyu asked him.

"Please I can't explain right now but I need to go. I had fun, but if you knew who I really am, you'd probably want nothing to do with me." Taehyun said and slipped his hand out of his, his ring falling off his finger.

Ignoring Beomgyu's yelling, he yelled out to Soobin and both him and Huening got into the carriage.

Soobin immediately went as fast as he could but you could feel everything starting to change. They just barely made it when Soobin decided to add a bit of fairy magic to make the horses go faster.

Everything was back to normal. The carriage now a squished watermelon because of the impact, the horses were now back to being kittens which Taehyun held closely to him, luckily they weren't injured at all, and Taehyun was now back to looking like a servant boy.

Taehyun started to cry heavily. This was the happiest he's ever been and now it's all gone.

Soobin and Kai looked at the now crying boy and started to comfort him. Soobin put him in his lap and let him lay his head on his shoulder and Kai rubbed his back comfortingly. They both felt so bad for the boy.

"Let it all out Taehyun. This sucks I know." Huening said reassuringly.

The boy just cried and cried until he finally fell asleep on Soobin's shoulder.
