Didn't dissapoint me: Taegyu

Based off of To Do episode 14

"Team Banana wins!"

Was what the managers have said after the end of the tasks in their new To Do episode this week.

Yeonjun, Soobin and Kai are the winners which unfortunately left Taehyun and Beomgyu or Team Strawberry, the losers of the game.

"Here's your prize." Said one of the managers has he handed out a Convenience Store gift voucher of 100,000 won.

"Oh wow I'm jealous." Beomgyu said as he looked at the prize.

This made Taehyun feel bad. He was the one who did the last two tasks of the game. He felt like he had disappointed Beomgyu.

He started to get a bit fidgety as his mind started to overthink about how he could've done better.

After the episode ended and the cameras turned off and the staff left them alone to talk, the guilt started to get worse.

"100,000 is definitely a lot Yeonjun hyung, imagine all the ramen you can buy with that." Beomgyu joked as he eyed the card.

"Yeah it definitely is. Endless ramen for me." Yeonjun joked back.

"Well maybe you can take a poor boy like me to buy some stuff here. You don't want me to die from hunger do you?" Beomgyu gave a pout as Yeonjun just rolled his eyes.

"You lost you deserve to starve." Yeonjun said and Beomgyu fake gasped.

"How dare you! What does Taehyun not get to eat either? He lost too." Beomgyu said.

"Taehyun gets to eat, you don't." Yeonjun stuck his tongue out at him.

Beomgyu turned to Taehyun to complain when he noticed Taehyun was staring off into space.

He tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear and that seemed to get Taehyun to snap out of his trance.

"You ok?" Beomgyu said softly to him.

Taehyun only shook his head yes and that made Beomgyu worried that he wasn't speaking and wrapped his arm around his shoulders for the rest of the time until they got home.

On the car ride home Beomgyu kept looking at the sleeping Taehyun on his shoulder who had a pout on his lips and wondered if he was ok.

'Why is he being sulky?' Beomgyu thought.

Beomgyu didn't know the reason so he just decided to comfort the younger and laid his head onto his head and held his hand softly.

"It'll be ok Taehyun. Whatever is wrong you can tell me." Beomgyu whispered softly to the sleeping boy.

Once they arrived to their dorms Taehyun was still asleep.

"Taehyunnie wake up." Beomgyu said to him.

Taehyun stirred and finally woke up. He looked up to see Beomgyu staring softly at him. He also noticed that it was only them in the car.

"It's good to see you awake hyun." Beomgyu said and gently kissed his head.

Taehyun only snuggled closer to him, but then he remembered what happened and started to pout.

"What's wrong baby? You've been sulky ever since the game ended." Beomgyu made sure to be very gentle with the boy, holding his hands for comfort.

"It's nothing." Taehyun said.

"Well it's clearly something if it's making you upset. Now, tell hyung what's wrong." Beomgyu said.

Taehyun sighed and finally lifted his head up from Beomgyu's shoulder looking him straight in the eye.

"I'm sorry." Taehyun said which made Beomgyu confused.

"Sorry about what?" Beomgyu asked.

"That I made us lose. It's my fault." Taehyun said.

"What are you talking about?" Beomgyu was confused.

Taehyun's eyes got watery and he had to swallow the lump in his throat.

"Today during the game we played. I should've done better. You looked sad when we didn't win and I did the last two tasks and if I did better then-." Taehyun was freaking out.

"Hey hey calm down Taehyun!" Beomgyu said and pulled him into a hug.

Once Taehyun calmed down, Beomgyu began to speak.

"Do you really think I'm mad at you because we didn't win a stupid game?" Beomgyu asked and his heart broke when Taehyun nodded yes.

"I don't like disappointing you." Taehyun said in a small voice.

"Oh Taehyun you didn't disappoint me. You'll never disappoint me ever. I don't care if we didn't win or not. As long as I got to play and be with you is the greatest thing I could ask for. Don't think I'm mad at you. You did your best and that's all that matters. Even times when we aren't on the same time I'll be cheering you on. I'm sorry I made you feel this way." Beomgyu said.

Taehyun lifted his head up and had tears glistening his eyes, Beomgyu smiled and kissed his forehead softly.

"I love you hyung." Taehyun said.

"I love you more." Beomgyu said.

"I think we should go inside now. They're probably worried." Taehyun said.

"Yea let's go in. But before that." Beomgyu leaned in and kissed his lips softly and lovingly, making Taehyun blush.

When he pulled away, he looked at the male that he thought was the cutest in the world.

"Next time you feel like I'm mad at you please come talk to me. You have no idea how worried I was." Beomgyu said.

"Ok I will. Thank you." Taehyun smiled at him.

They both got out of the car heading inside.
