You sat in shock as Madison stared into your eyes with that same venomously smug smile as always, your love for the girl overcame you and you ran across your room and picked her up into your arms for hug.
Madison: Easy tiger, you're gonna get me excited
You drop her back down to her feet and smile bright looking into her eyes.
Y/N: Like I give a fuck you beautiful bitch
She kisses you hungrily intertwining her fingers in your hair and you return the passion, you only split thanks to an awkward cough beside you, you look to Zoe, mouth agape and she can only smirk back at you.
Y/N: What the fuck is going on?
Her face drops into a serious expression and you can tell an explanation is coming.
Zoe: We knew Fiona was getting rid of the hunters, but you know what she's like, she's delusional, we knew without you the plan would go awry and things could go wrong, we just had to find a way to make you forget how much you hated her...
Madison interjects.
Madison: So they hid me out at Misty's swamp, Fiona wouldn't be able to take me out like she's been trying to for months and you'd be willing to help her take out those hunters, it killed two birds with one stone.
The rest of the night was spent discussing the plan and swapping apologies with the rest of the coven, especially Myrtle, who'd been consumed by guilt for making you feel the way you did. Late into the night you lay in bed, Madison cuddled into your chest.
Madison: Sorry about everything, we just needed to make sure those hunters were taken care of and you'd be the only person Fiona would trust... For what it's worth I missed you like hell
Y/N: You ain't got anything to be sorry for, you're back and this shitty convoluted plan you guys made worked out, now we can just get back to us...
The rest of the night you spoke and kissed and eventually feel asleep smiling, once again happy.
The next morning you spent your time helping Madison pack everything back into her room until your mother soon walked in.
Cordelia: Madison...
Your mother, still blinded, cautiously wanders into Madison's room, slightly panicked.
Cordelia: I need your help
Madison: Jesus Cordelia you look like shit, I can't believe you did that to yourself
Y/N: Watch it, Maddie
Cordelia: I've been in Misty's room trying to see something, I held her boots, hair from her brush, nothing...
Madison looks at her with a look of pity preparing a typically mean-spirited response.
Madison: I hate to be the Debbie Downer but maybe she's gone
Cordelia: Or maybe my gift of the sight hasn't come back
You look on with a guilty face thankful your mother couldn't see it, in this whole mess of losing Madison you'd pushed her actions against Misty to the back of your head, now with her back you realised the need to get the swamp witch back, but you couldn't tell the rest of the coven, for Maddie's sake.
As you were caught up in your thoughts you looked back up at the women to see Cordelia reaching out to your girlfriend. In a flash of panic however, Madison moves across the room in the blink of an eye.
Madison: Woah, that was cool! I did transmutation, didn't even have to think about it, just happened
Y/N: Sign of the Supreme if you ask me
Cordelia: I wouldn't read too much into it, you can manifest multiple powers without being Supreme, our powers always spike in times of crisis
Your mother once again approaches the girl hesitantly and you rush to get between the pair.
Y/N: Look mum trust me, Misty's probably just doing something you know... witchy, I'm sure she'll come back soon enough
Cordelia: Madison, I need to touch you
She reaches out again and once more Madison moves across the room in a flash.
Madison: Tell the truth Cordie are you into girls now?
You scrunch your nose up in confusion and make eye contact with Madison, she shrugs with a look of panic.
Cordelia: Last time I touched you I saw things, what are you afraid I might see?
Madison: I don't know Stevie Wonder, don't want you getting at look at your son taking me to Fucksville
Y/N: Maddie what the fuck?
Cordelia simply chuckles, still filled with suspicion.
Cordelia: Nothing stays a secret for very long in this house Madison, it will come to light, whether you want it to or not
Y/N: She doesn't have anything to hide mum I prom-
Cordelia: Then she should walk over here
Hesitantly Madison follows your mother's advice and stands in front of her, unwavered.
Madison:Knock yourself out, boom, boom
Cordelia reaches a hand out to your girlfriend, holding it on her shoulder, after a second she rubs her hand around the girl's face in panic, before reaching down to her hand, all the while Madison smiles maliciously.
Y/N: Look mum, I'm sorry but your powers might just be kinda weak right now, maybe try and relax and see if they get any better, for now I'm just telling you Maddie's telling the truth
With that Madison lashes her hand away from Cordelia's and your mother leaves the room in distress, you shut the door behind her and rest your head on it with a sigh, before looking back up at Madison.
Y/N: Fucksville? Really?
She simply laughs it off and saunters toward you, wrapping her arms around your neck.
Madison: Yeah... speaking of which, you wanna take a trip back there tonight?
You return an unconvincing look of pain.
Y/N: You know, I would but I've gotta solve this problem you made...
