Road trip

Kai and I left the woods and went to my dorm. We saw Caroline when we stepped inside. "What is he doing here?" Caroline asked with rudeness in her voice. "Hi!" Kai said while forming a smile on his face. "We're going on a road trip like you suggested to find my parents". Caroline looked at me confused. "Malia can we talk in private?". "Sure". I followed her to the side of the room.
"What the heck are you thinking?!"
"What?"
"How are you going on a road trip with Kai? He's crazy"
"I know that. But he said he changed since the merge"
"And you believe him?"
"Sort of. I am giving him the chance to prove it to me"
"I know you like to see the good in everyone Malia. But trust me when I say this, there isn't any good in Kai!"
"Caroline I know how to protect myself. Besides, I'll just call you if anything goes wrong"
"Let me at least go with you"
"You need to focus on your studies care"
"Ugh. Fine but if that little bastard lays a hand on you again I'll snap his neck in a heart beat"
"You know I can hear you right!" Kai said. We both looked back at his direction. Lowering our voices.
"Care I'll be fine"
"How many days will you be gone?"
"However long it takes"
"Okay. well you better start packing. I need to get to class"
"Ok. love you"
I gave her a quick hug before she walked out the door. Leaving just me and Kai in the room. "Ohh you should pack this!". I looked back to where Kai was standing. He was holding my black lace bra in his hands. "KAI!". I snatched the bra out of his dirty little hands and put it back in my drawer. Kai laid on my bed playing with one of my stuff animals while I started to pack. couple of minutes passed by and I was still packing. "Are you done!" Kai sighed. "Calm down, I am almost finish!". "Why do girls take forever?"

"Okay, you ready!" Kai smiled. I finished packing and we were outside putting our stuff in the trunk of the car. "Okay well I looked up your parents name and I only found your mom. It says she's in Florida". "FLORDIA! THATS SO FAR!" I couldn't believe we had to travel this far. "Well" Kai closed the trunk. "I guess it will be long ride" he continued and added his casual wink. We drove in silence into it was around 12:00 pm. "Hey we should stop at a motel it's getting late" Kai suggested. "Okay" I said. We stopped at this little motel that looked run down but we didn't have a lot of money so this would have to do. Kai opened the motel room door and stepped inside. I followed behind him. There was only one bed. "Really Kai why you rent a motel room with only one bed". "Well cupcake we don't have a fortune to spend so sorry". I looked at him with a ugly look. "Aww don't be so pouty Will share". "Like I am sharing a bed with you!" I laughed. "ok sleep on the floor!" Kai said. "Fine!". So that's what I did. I put a pillow and blanket on the floor and layed on the cold hard ground while Kai was on the soft plush bed. Kai looked down at me with a apologetic look. "Malia come sleep here" kai said reluctantly. "No you wanted to be selfish and have the bed to yourself. So there, now you have what you wished for!" I said stubbornly. "Malia stop being so stubborn and come sleep on the bed". The floor was as cold as a freezer and I really didn't want to wake up with a pain in my back so I reluctantly got up and got on the bed with Kai. "See. Now was that so hard" Kai mocked in a baby voice. I grabbed a pillow and hit him with it. "I know you love me!" He said in a sing song voice. "In your dreams!" I laughed.

I woke up next morning cuddling with someone. I softly hugged the persons stomach and laid my head on their chest. I wrapped my legs on top of the person."Hey sleepy head". That when I realized the person I was cuddling with was Kai. I quickly took my body off of his. "What the hell?!" I looked at Kai. "Hey don't yell at me you were the one with their arms all over my chest" Kai chuckled. I got off the bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. "You better start getting dressed we still have a lot of road to cover until florida" I said trying to Change the subject. I put the toothpaste on the brush and
Began to start brushing. After I was done I put the brush on the counter and walked out the bathroom bumping into Kai. Shirtless. My chest hit his and we both stood there. He stared at me with a seductive look. His dark Gary blue eye stared into my soul and my heart skipped a beat. There was sexual tension in the air. "Sorry" I barely whispered. "It's alright" he was still staring at me like he wanted something more to happen. I stepped back and grabbed my suitcase and walked out the room. "I'll meet you at the car" I said awkwardly. As I walked to the parking lot I kept on replaying the scene in my head. Every little detail of it. Like how his bare chest felt so good on mine. How he wanted more to happen. How I wanted more to happen. It was weird. But at the same time it felt so good.
A/N - OMG I haven't updated in forever I had writers block. I hope this chapter made up with it. I added some sexual tension between Kai and Malia😏 can you guys go on the previous chapter and look at the picture I put in. I made it and I loved how it turned out!
