Misunderstood

I was leaning against the car door waiting for Kai. I thought about what happened just a few minutes ago. I couldn't stop thinking about it.
"Hey" Kai's voice pulled me back to reality. "Hi" I said quietly. "You ready?" Kai asked. "Yeah" I said softly while opening the car door and getting inside. Kai opened the car door as well and sat in the drivers seat. "Where are we any ways?" I really didn't know where we are since we left Virginia. "We're in North Caroline" he replied. He started up the engine. "So are we going to have to stay in another motel?" I asked. "Maybe." He said. "Okay" I avoided eye contact from him. Everything was so awkward between us now. We drove for about 20 minutes already with the radio on so we won't have to talk to each other. We stopped at a gas station since we were running low on gas. Kai had finished pumping gas in the tank and he leaned in through the open car window and asked. "hey I am going to get something to eat in the store you want anything?". I was glad he asked that because I was really craving a nice cold coke. "Yeah, can you get me a coke?". "Sure" he smiled and left. Kai was acting weird. He was being nice. Gentle. Kind. It wasn't like him. Maybe he did change after all. He came back with one coke for me and a subway sandwich which I assumed was for him. We started to drive on this long highway. Kai stepped on the brakes to prevent from another car hitting us. My chest leaned forward and I spilled the soda all over my pants and shirt. "Watch where your going asshole!" Kai yelled at the reckless driver. "great!" I said sarcastically. The air conditioning was on in the car and I was getting really cold because the cold beverage which was spilled all over me. "Kai can you stop so I can change into dry clothes?". "I can't were on a highway"
Are you kidding me? I thought to myself. I definitely wasn't going to be cold for the next 10 mins so I unlocked my seatbelt and went to the back of the car grabbing my suitcase. I grabbed a pair of clothes and started taking the wet cold ones I had on. I saw Kai sneak a glimpse of me changing in the mirror. "Kai!" I shouted at him. "A girl is stripping in the back of my car what do you expect me to do" he smiled with his perfect squared teeth. "Your suppose to not look" I corrected him. Kai glanced back at me again and smirked. "I see you brought the bra I told you to pack!" . "I didn't pack it for you! I packed it for me!". "Sure whatever you say princess!"

We stopped at this club after an hour.
"What are you doing?"
"I am going to have some fun!"
"Kai we don't have time for this"
"Come on Malia don't be a party pooper"
"I am being serious kai"
"Fine. Stay in the car"
Kai closed the door and entered the club. "Kaii" he in ignored me and walked in anyway. Are you serious? Why would he want to go to a club right now. He's so crazy. I sighed and got out the car. I opened the club doors and saw a whole bunch of drunk girls grinding on probably some random stranger. I looked around to see if I find Kai. I couldn't find the bastard. Then out of no where Kai grabbed my hand and twisted me into his Chest. When in the world did he learn how to dance? "heyy princess I knew you couldn't deny my request!". "Well I rather be with you then in a hot car so don't flatter your self!" I smiled a fake smile. "Oh come on! I knew you couldn't resist dancing with me!". Kai grabbed my hand again and dragged me out to the dance floor. "Kai I really don't want to" I yelled through the loud music. "Come on Malia live a little!" Kai was all smiles he was dancing around me and trying to get me to dance with him. "Kai please". "Oh I know why you don't want to dance with me!" Kai chuckled. "And what would that be?" I questioned. "Your scared that I am going to show you up with my sick dance moves!". "Oh please I can dance better than you!". "Than show me!". "Fine". Kai and I were now dancing he went first with some lame attempt to start a dance battle. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. Causing the dance battle to turn into a sexual one.He danced around me until I took the lead and turn my self around him so that I was now In front of him. I didn't realize that a crowd had formed to watch me and Kai's dance together. I grabbed his jacket with my finger and whispered into his hear "watch this!". I started to walk around him with my hand on his shoulder. I moved my hand all over his chest making the crowd go "ohhh". Kai looked at me with a smile obviously Impressed at my dancing. "damn cupcake didn't know you had that in you!" I started to jump around dancing to the beat. Then Kai pulled me from my waist again but this time I wasn't facing him. I took the opportunity to start grinding on him. Kai was surprised but not at all wanting to stop. Kai moved his hands lower so that they were now on my hips. I twisted around and leaned into his face. My lips were almost touching his. "Not today cupcake!" I mocked him and walked away. The crowd loved my little performance and started laughing.
