(He's also gonna be aged up in this one)I walked the cold city I've lived in since I was a baby.
I knew every buildin, what it contained, and its history.
Well, I knew everything before getting stuck in the apocalypse, now everythings changed.
The buildings are the same, but what they contained was different.
Execpt for Griddy's and one other place.
The Old Timers.
The place I had just arrived at.
The bright neon letters shone as bright as they did before, spelling out the name of the beloved bar.
I opened the door and was met with the familiar smell of cigars, alcohol and overwhelming mens cologne.
I snuck in here as a kid and made friends with the bar owners kid who I told everything to.
When I looked around i felt comfort, seeing as the inside was as 80's mafia as it was when I last saw it.
I walked over to the bar and smiled when I saw my old friend and only real friend, Teddy.
Teddy looked almost the same as he did when I left, just taller and more defined.
He had messy brown hair that went to the back of his neck which was tied in his signature low pony, and his face now held a short and neatly trimmed beard and rectangular glasses.
He was also the same size for the most part, just with a bit more muscle.
I knocked on the counter and leaned against it.
"Look at how old you got dork."
Ted's face lit up as he froze before turning around to see me.
"Well if it isnt Five Hargreeves...."
"In the flesh."
A grin spread across his face as he quickly walked over, reminding me of an excited golden retriever who's best pal just came home.
We bro hugged over the bar and he gave me a hard pat on the back.
"I thought you died!"
"No no just.....got stuck in a place I couldn't leave for a while."
I wasnt exactly ready to unload the last, what, 50 years I was gone?
Maybe after a drink or two.
"Well it's good to see you again man, it wasn't the same without you."
I laugh as I hear applause behind me.
Confused I turned around to see a plump women wink and wave at the men in the crowd that surrounded the stage she was on.
She dissapeared behind the curtain and I turned to Teddy.
"What's that all about?"
"Oh yeah, once I got ownership of the bar I added a stage and hired some people to give a show, mostly singing but some other fun stuff on sultry Saturdays."
He said winking.
"Interesting..."
"Yeah- oh wait! My favorite employee is about to come out, you have to watch and listen to her, she's absolutely amazing."
Just on cue I heard applause once more and turned in my seat.
An absolutely stunning woman walked out on stage with a small grin on her face.
If I wasn't pulled by her looks, I would soon be pulled in by the voice I heard.
She started to sing a slow, almost sad sounding song and had me in a trance.
"Wow....."
"Right? That's what I said when I first met her."
Her voice was like smooth butter, slick and satisfying, for some reason.
She looked down at the men sat infront of her and knelt down, taking one of the guys ties and tugging on it.
He leaned in only for her to pull away and stand back up straight.
Her eyes held sadness but excitement as well when they met mine.
I felt my heart stop but speed up at the same time.
I swear I saw a small smile appear on her face but it vanished to fast for me to be completely sure.
Her show went on and once she ended the crowd erupted in applause and she made eye contact with me once more before walking behind the curtains.
"Everyone loves her, she's not just beautiful and has the voice of an angel, she's also the sweetest girl you'll ever meet, doesnt have a mean bone in her body."
"What's her name?"
"Her stage name, Siren, her real name, (Y/n)."
(Y/n).....
(Y/n) the Siren....
It fit so well.
She had me in a trance and might be the girl of my dreams.
The siren of my dreams....○●○●○●○●○●○●○
It's kinda short and is kinda a cliff hanger but I really liked this one
