Case 05 : Elevator | Enhypen & Reader

Floor 1 : Start

11pm

The girl stood infront of the school gates while hugging herself

Even though she wore a jacket the cold wind was still stronger

"i didn't expect you to be here" she jokes as heeseung stood beside her

"i don't even know why i can't say no to that stubborn brat" heeseung says with a chuckle before helping ni-ki with the gates

She looks to the side to see sunghoon sitting under an old tree yawning

Sunoo was also helping ni-ki while jungwon was busy stretching

He was indeed already asleep but was sadly woken up by ni-ki

Jay didn't mind he was bored at his home anyway, he stood beside sunghoon while scrolling on his phone

Jake was hurrying the trio since he really needed to use the bathroom

At this moment she hoped..

She hoped nothing will happen

No one will disappear

They'll go home complete, proving this elevator rumor was nothing but a rumor

"it's open!" ni-ki shouts, jake immediately running inside the gates to the school for the bathroom

*creak*

The school doors echoes through the hall as heeseung carefully pushed them open

"damn" ni-ki spoke his voice echoing through the hallway "what's so damn about this you see this hallway every day" heeseung spoke in a very done tone as he walks pass ni-ki "what do we have to do anyway?" jungwon questions as he walks with ni-ki to the elevator

"well there's this shady websites that had all the instructions-" ni-ki replied "are you sure its not just por-" sunghoon was immediately cut off by jay smacking the back of his head

"you okay?" sunoo walked beside the girl who gave him a nod "yeah.. I just hope my mom doesn't discover my disappearance" she sighs

"is the elevator even working i bet the breakers are off" heeseung speaks, the group stops. Staring at the elevator in front of them

"alright then ni-ki how does this work" sunghoon speaks as he looks at the younger male for information the others doing the same "it says at the instructions is we have to make the elevator open first" ni-ki started

"make it work? If we open the switch that makes the elevator works it will also open the hallway lights" heeseung informs ni-ki "isn't there a light switch?" ni-ki spoke slowly "apparently none the switch to the elevator is connected to the main switch in the breaker" heeseung replies as he slowly started to think "this is already useless can we just go home" jay starts to complain, y/n stood in front of the elevator her back turned as she looked at the group one by one

Huh.. Where is..?

"does the game expect us to chant something? Oh so holy school give us the power and permission to play this game-" sunghoon spoke

*swish*

Y/n slowly turned to look behind her as she suddenly felt cold wind, but it seemed like it was only her that noticed

"-open the elevator and lead us to death" sunghoon sarcastically jokes

*ding*

The group froze

Y/n was frozen on the spot as the light from the elevator slowly shined directly at them

"sunghoon.." jungwon whispered "i.. I don't know i promise" the other male immediately whispered back in fear

"no way in hell I'm doing this!" jay immediately backed off

"yes way in heaven you are!" ni-ki grabbed the older male "you can't back out once it started!" he adds making jay look at him in disbelief "okay let's calm down and process things" sunoo spoke nervously "what is there to process its obvious we summoned a demon" sunghoon panics

"what we need to process is the fact that jake is not here!" y/n raises her voice making everyone look

"jake!"

The boy turns to see heeseung running towards him from the other side of the hallway "heeseung!" jake calls in relief "i thought you guys left" he adds as he walks up to heeseung who only laughs at him "we wouldn't! y/n remembered you but we need to get back to them immediately they're starting to play the elevator thingy" heeseung inform his friend "don't you find it creepy" jake slowly spoke as they made their way back to the group

"huh?" he heard heeseung hum as he looks ahead "i just feel uneasy about it" jake continues "it's like.. I know it sounds unreal but it sounds dangerous" he finishes

"it is."

Jake slowly turned confused as he kept his gaze straight ahead "wha-"

"it won't let me go"

Jake froze, his heart skipping a beat

That whisper was no where near heeseung's voice

Before he could turn to look beside him, he saw a silhouette at the end of the hallway

"jake! What are you doing!" it shouted a complain

Heeseung...?

"i.." jake fell silent, he immediately looks beside him to see..

Nothing..

What..

...

"where were you?" sunghoon looks at jake as he walks beside heeseung "bathroom" he quietly replies

"alright! Since there's no more problem let's go" ni-ki marches towards the elevator

"can i text my mom i love her?" sunoo started as ni-ki pressed the button to the second floor

*ding*

The elevator slowly closed
