Your first day of the rest of your hosting career, and you were underwhelmed. Kyoya had mentioned that the spring season for sports was barely beginning, so a lot of the customers, especially your audience, were stuck in sports practices for most of the club hours. You had some appointments nearing closing time, but it wasn't nearly as much as you had yesterday. You utilized your first hour, completing the homework that you had not been able to finish in class, but by the second, your boredom took over. You stared into your tea cup, watching the liquid swirl into the center as you willed time to move faster. There was a series of squeals from the ladies at the table next to you, and you rolled your eyes as the Hitachiian twins embraced each other.

"What are they so excited about? I just don't get it." Haruhi asked as she stopped near your table, uplifting your mood immediately. You two had gotten closer, considering you and Kyoya were the only ones to know her true gender so far, and you three had placed bets on which host would be able to realize it first. You had said Mori, considering how observant he was, and you knew although he didn't talk much, he always surprised you with how much he already knew. Haruhi placed her money on the twins, considering that from the moment she walked into the door, they were always in her space. From that distance, it was only a matter of time before either one or both of them got an idea. Kyoya had surprisingly chosen an underdog, Honey. He explained that while Honey seems to only have an interest in materialistic things, nothing seems to stop him from making a new friend. He also mentioned that he and Mori got along so well for a reason, as they could both be observant, but Honey just had a more social side than Mori did.

However, you all agreed on one thing. Tamaki would be dead last.

You shrugged, inviting her to sit for a moment since she had been running around for the Host Club all day. You knew what that felt like. "They make each other seem so romantic and innocent, but we both know how irritating they can be." You sent the twins a glare from your table, in which they stuck their tongues out at you in response. You cracked a small smile and returned to the conversation, "How is everything going?"

"Eh, I mean, I can't really complain, since I'm basically being forced to be here. Talking with you makes me feel less miserable." She stated extremely straight-faced, which made you laugh.

"I'm glad that I can be your saving grace." You joked, causing Haruhi to roll her eyes and kick you under the table. Another giggle escaped your lips, and you felt your bond with Haruhi grow a little bit stronger.

"Excuse me, ladies, I'd hate to interrupt, but I need Haruhi to make more instant coffee before our guests begin to notice it's gone." Kyoya lowers his voice as he comes up to the table you were sitting at, making sure the guests didn't hear him refer to Haruhi as a 'lady'.

Haruhi stands to leave with a nod, and you stand with her. "I can help! I don't really have much to do right now."

"Actually, (Y/n), I was wondering if you had seen Honey-senpai? He didn't tell me he was going to be late today, and neither did Mori-senpai." Kyoya said, flipping through his black book, surely trying to find a note he might've written about Honey-senpai's absence.

Haruhi turns around, "Honey-senpai isn't here?"

You scan the music room, and the door opens. "Speak of the devil." You point and Kyoya follows your finger, and sees Honey walk in, holding Usa-chan lazily as his side, the other hand rubbing his eye. He was clearly tired.
